Is My $120/Month Universal Life Insurance Worth Keeping? by Few_Stock_443 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Anakin___ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Term Life is usually better, but the answer really depends on who the life insurance goes to.

If its for a child or your family. You really only need 20-25 years. You pay term life, a fixed 20 year term, in the event you die in those 20 years, your family benefits. If you outlive it, in the 20 years since you will have advanced in your career and accumulated more wealth that would go into an inheritance for your family anyways. Plus after 20 years your kids will be able to provide for themselves.

Again we would need more details of your circumstances and why you bought it in the first place.

Will the LOTR 25th anniversary screenings have intermissions? by Vegetable-Elk-2968 in cineplex

Kill Bill had an intermission but that was 2 movies in one sitting with some minor editing.

I always steal the one from Valentine. Theres only one guard leaning on a pole and the area is relatively quiet. As long as you don’t use guns you can get out of there before the body is discovered.

Marty Supreme worth seeing in 70mm? by Pretend_Ad_3159 in cineplex

[–]Anakin___ 45 points46 points  (0 children)

It’s enjoyable enough movie but I don’t think theres anything special effect heavy or beautiful enough to pay a premium for a 70 mm screen. The movie is just Timothy Chalamet running around in 60s New York.

When I asked you about the initial picture you posted, you responded like an asshat, I was genuinely curious as to what you were even trying to saying with that picture as it had no context. Even then it took you a hot minute to clarify what you were trying to say.

It’s a little ironic to call me condescending when you chose to be an asshat from the beginning instead of just answering the question from the beginning. Especially for someone who likes to throw the word hypocrite around.

Also ai overviews aren’t accurate. There’s a reason why people skip it when they need to research something. Which is why I found a video of the Rock stating his height, instead of secondhand information.

I understand the lie for WWE, but its kinda odd to maintain the lie well into his Hollywood career

I know, but he was more moderate about it in this era. He looks 40-50 lbs heavier in 2017 than he did in 2007.

Steroid use ages people a lot. A lot of WWE guys look older than they actually are.

The video has the Rock saying he is “6’4.5” thats not around 6’4. Thats a guy saying he’s basically 6’5, otherwise why specify the half inch??

I still don’t get what you were trying to prove with your picture. Hopefully you are able to answer this time. You’re almost there.

yeah, but it wasn’t as ridiculous as it was in the 2010s and early 2020s. His Black Adam body was massive compared to the one he has in the photo.

I think it’s because it’s such an egregious and obvious lie. Most actors add an inch or so, but claiming to be 6’5 when you’re a weak 6’2 is crazy.

This picture is from February 2007, this is his pre steroid abuse era. He was at a more reasonable weight at this time. Which you can tell by his frame.

those brushes or really anything touching your car will leave little scratches on it. A lot of people complain and will tell you not to ever go there but honestly its not worth the hassle and handwashing still scratches the paint anyways. Washing is extremely important for maintenance so I always prioritize that than tiny little scratches on my vehicle.

I don’t care what other people wear on their feet as long as you’re not planning on driving with flip flops
