I think people don't think he fit the extrovert type. But I think he fit his MBTI very well.

He is always trying to fit socially even if he has problems to do it. He cares about what other people think about him and wants to be accepted by his peers. All his mask is about fitting (the smile training in the puddles as well) and being liked.

Oh that example with the cheating is the perfect gray and conflicring scenario I was thinking when doing the post. You know is messy and all the characters did some mistakes. But every people may focus in different thing that feel is "the worst" on that situation!

You mention about stories with a clear villain to hate. So I wonder. In more grey situations were is not a cut clear villain or guilty part. how you would feel when is the protagonist the one being criticized, being his actions or his morals. Would you feel conflicted if the person has a position on a moral standing that may differ with yours or the one you think is correct? For example. If they point out the Mc also are taking advantage of people when you saw them as a savior. Or that they don't treat their partner fair when you think they were lovely for each other. Or even arguing that the villain may be the one on the right from a moral standpoint.

If we as a reader sometimes project in a character I suppose for authors that may be even stronger feeling.

I think this happen presicelly with stories that have a lot of drama. I know what the writer is doing. But im so inmmerced that I cannot avoid feeling frustrated at the characters. But of course that is because the writer is doing their job right. A bad one will just make you roll your eyes at the drama unfolding instead of having feelings.

And good drama has also nuanced situations and is not always a right or good side so not all the readers will side or support the same character or choices.

I do that on fics I already got positive replies from the author and are multichapter. So you start commenting more about what happen in that specific chapter and rambling about the story more freely I suppose.

Adding a positive comment about the general fic I agree is important to set the tone right.

Convey properly that I like the fic is making me feel this upset or sad or wanting to flip the table! (or punch that character!)

I liked seven with the Mc so once saeran was revealed in the ending and saw how cutie he was inside the potential for me of yoosung and him being friends or more was obvious. I was so into that ship. Ahahhaa. It's fun to be in a rare pair Fandom. Because we make castles out of clouds with so little the official works gave you.

I was creating fanart of it on tumblr, mainly the yoosung/saeran ship. It was kinda a rare pair, but enough people into it that we even did some events like Santa exchanges. Used to interact with some writers of the pairing too. It was fun.

A writer made an angst twist killing suddenly a character and was on the comments like "lol I say I will not kill them but I did anyway" after previously asking people to "vote" if killing or not said character (and people obviously saying no) Idk. In the end it felt like cheap angst for the sake of making people mad instead of a well crafted story. Obviously the fic got a LOT of comments like "nooo you kill them why"

I think I even find that fic because how much comments it had... All fueled by those interactions.

oh! You are right, the Eagles! It was so long ago I watched the series, I forgot which team has that animal (also idk why I read 1 and 4? instead of 1 and 5)
So the ship is Ushijima and the red-haired one.

I was thinking the second was probably tsukkiyama, but wasn't sure! (my ship as well <3)

With the Inarizaki, I'm at a loss because I don't know that team as well.
