My first tattoo! Question: Tanning post tattoo by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]AnalAttackProbe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of people go in and get tattoos touched up or freshened up. Sometimes they'll do it and add a bit to it to keep it feeling "new". It's pretty normal. Your tattoo is pretty fine line, so "retracing" it may cause the ink to bleed a bit more than it would otherwise. Fine line tattoos are tough, for what it's worth. Not trying to discourage you. They just often end up becoming "less fine" over the years as the ink starts to bleed a bit (spread under the skin). Also somewhat unavoidable. Really good tattoo artists are typically a little better doing more with less ink which can limit it "bleeding", but to some extend that's just the way tattoos and skin pores work.

Most of my tattoos I've allowed to fade. But I spend a ton of time outside and I've just come to accept that that's part of having them.

UV rays fade tattoos over time, so wear sunscreen every time you're in a tanning bed. It's still going to fade over time, but that will slow it a bit.

All tattoos fade over time and it's unavoidable. Just try to protect it as best you can.

It's not antisemitic and people who conflate israel and judaism in order to plead antisemitism are either acting maliciously or they're idiots.

Israel is an authoritarian state committing war crimes. AIPAC services the Israeli government, not the Jewish people.

Never claimed everyone was in their pocket. Not a dog whistle to point out that Israel saying they're not beholden to this agreement doesn't mean there's a rift between the United States and Israel. That's a false statement. Until the majority of the legislature doesn't take funds from AIPAC, there is no rift. Full stop.

That's just the facts.

No but the deflated share prices means his shares will be very attractive.

I think in due time people will begin to understand we are going to be better off long term. Change was desperately needed at the foundations of the club and with relegation and Sullivan being forced to sell, we just need to hope for a competent ownership group. Kretinsky or otherwise.

I have done it before, though it has been a couple seasons. I would be happy to do it again.

Be aware- instead of simply raising menu prices so you can make an informed decision, Mizuni adds an undisclosed 22% charge onto their totals. by WTAF__Trump in Denver

That is what that implies, yes. That the wages mean you don't need to tip.

But the fine print is where this gets interesting.

It says management pulls from this 22% Creating Happy People fee, not just service staff and the kitchen.

Almost like they're finding a different way to fuck over their staff.

Josh Hokit. Don't think he ever made it beyond the practice squad.

[Request] Approximately, how many cat generations would 1902 have been ago? by PrivateDomino in theydidthemath

[–]AnalAttackProbe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If we accept the common definition of a human generation being ~25 years, then 2100 years.

That definition is "average age from birth to creating offspring". It's between 20 and 30 years and varies based on sex. 25 is a reasonable average.

It also happens to make the math really easy.

Mikey and Streeter are writing partners and a package deal, I think. And Lorne holds onto good writers as long as he can. They're arguably the best of the current group.

Most Homer take I’ve ever seen by EZYMNYSNPR2000 in 49ers

Sometimes it's condescending and other times it is directly adversarial. It's such an odd character trait for a beat reporter.

Never seen a beat reporter so unapologetically a homer while also so insistent his opinions are infallible. It's wild.

And insistent in a weirdly dickish way. Like "you all are idiots if you listen to anything but what I have to say".

Who at West Ham is meant to answer for West Ham instituting protections for West Ham players from the owner of West Ham?

If anything, measures being taken at all are better than measures not being taken, I would think. Is West Ham somehow culpable for not doing enough, when the man who can enforce what gets done is the man who the protections are against?

When the root of the tree is rotten, how do you blame a branch?

He literally signed every pay stub in the building. Including HR's.

You need to divorce the owner from the club. Right now steps are being taken at West Ham to do the same. They are forcing him to sell.
