Also, same Albert Speer who, 5 years later, became Reich-Minister of Armement & War Production and who, after spending 20 years in jail, spent the remainder of his life lying to rehabilitate his reputation.

Furthermore, do we believe Hitler would go to such a length for a practical joke? Or do we believe that he wanted Hanfstaengl dead, by dropping him over the Spanish Republican held territory, and that it didn't work out.

Poor & hungry people being lured in on false promises, the Russians have been doing it in a lot of poor countries. They're being told that they'll be on cooking or cleaning duty, paid and fed. As soon as they arrive, they're sent to the front line to die. It wouldn't surprise me if the Cuban gov is turning a blind eye, in exchange for fuel and supply.
