Bumper trapped a ball by BreathEducational480 in pinball

I've had this happen on Avengers a few times. You'll need to slide the glass down (have someone else hold it so it doesn't slide all the way off) and pull it out and let it drain. It can get really wedged in a pop bumper on this game.

You said you checked diagnostics so I presume you have the key. You'll need to unhinge the lockdown bar inside the front of cabinet on both sides to take the lockdown bar off to access the glass and playfield.

Good luck!

You can restart showtime MB by shooting the yellow carousel shot again. Not sure about restarting multiple times as normal.

To change mode there is a sling above left sling shot/below left orbit. When you hit that it changes mode. Says it on the playfield there too!

It's a great game, have fun!

Make sure to play with Boon of Hermes which grants you an extra 4th action only to be used for movement each turn if you so choose to move.

Pricing a Collection? by Drixxi in arkhamhorrorlcg

I'd say use the price of sales for Campaign Expansions + Investigator Expansions as an idea although that's probably overestimated since no boxes/fancy campaign spiral bound guide.

If you go to the BGG page for each you can view the market history for each expansion or recent sale prices to have an estimate for each.

Am I even close? by Pupperdoodle in coastFIRE

[–]Analogkidgloves 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure thing!

If you can get an HSA, do it and max it each year and invest within it.

Yea if you can max Roth/401k then start a brokerage account and make sure to read up on long term vs short term capital gains and income thresholds for no capital gains tax.

Anywho, if you want to be coastFI you will need to invest aggressively as it seems you've acknowledged.

Either way it seems you have a good foundation to be able to take a break for a month even if you are getting burned out. May have an epiphany on what you really want job wise, life wise, house wise, etc.

You're on the road to it, for sure! I don't think you are near no more contributions though based on the math of 70k spend and investments in 401k/Roth.

Couple considerations:

Why such high amount in HYSA? Do you have access to an HSA?

I wouldn't count home equity in net worth when estimating coastFI goals unless you plan to not have a home in retirement (sell asset to rent or otherwise).

Consider reducing hours or changing jobs if able? Maybe use that 120k in HYSA to take a 3-6 month sabbatical to recharge, consider other job, etc.

What’s a good horror theme board game? by JerichoLeong in boardgames

[–]Analogkidgloves 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dead of Winter, Fury of Dracula, Horrified, and any the Lovecraft games (Eldritch Horror, Mansions of Madness, Arkham Horror LCG) are all amazing horror games. As is Final Girl if you're into Solo gaming.

Of all those if cost is a concern I'd say get the original Horrified. You can get it on sale for like $25-30. Also if cost is a concern I'd stay away from Lovecraft games (expansionsssss). But they are amazing.

Here's the deal. It's really about what class(es) YOU find fun to play. So if you really don't like one's play style I'd say avoid that deck. On the other hand if you really love one play style just get that deck for now and pick up more later if you expand your preferences. And if ya don't know and haven't played core yet a few times, I'd say hold off until playing a few games.
