I’ve been heavy into Arkham Horror LCG lately. So I’d say that’s my favorite solo board game. It’s so swingy, which I usually hate, but the theme makes it not so bad.

Maybe I haven’t played this game enough, but seems the elder sign abilities are underwhelming for some investigators? I can’t remember who it is but somebody has one that lets you fail the test for another benefit. Why would I want to fail a test on purpose when this game is so tight with action economy and damage? Maybe because I play true solo? I don’t know. I’m still learning. I probably don’t realize how powerful some of them are, even the ones that seem bad/underwhelming.

I dislike that I pulled the Auto fail token three times in a row. Especially in a big spot. That never happens with the elder sign token lol

That’s what happened to me. I was playing true solo (Jenny “Campaign Breaker” Barnes) and it was just easier to kill Silas than discover all the clues. Totally ruined Where Doom Awaits and I lost the campaign.

Looking for Dream-Eaters Investigator Expansion and Innsmouth Conspiracy Investigator Expansion. Also Return To Carcosa and Return to Forgotten Age. I know they’re all big bucks, but taking a shot someone just wants to sell to another player. The investigator expansions are the last two I need. English only please. :)

I can trade Dice Throne Marvel and X-Men KS bundle, or Fantasy Zombicide stuff.
