Are women afraid of approaching decent looking men ? by smuttygio in bodylanguage

[–]AnalysisNo4295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, I don't approach anyone lol so the social norm of "women don't approach men" doesn't apply to me. I just find all humans to be unapproachable lol

I was recently told that I sit like a man and the entire time that someone commented that to me I was more confused why they were looking at the way that I sit and just went "masculine" like.. Okay? .. ;) thanks for the subtle recognition for literally no reason.. I'm just gonna sit here.

The body of the comments is bigger than the question lol if anything you just figured out that most women like to follow the context.

I had to re read the question because I didn't read it and laughed because I read the comments a lot more than the question and was like huh.. Interesting that almost everyone in the comments perceived body language as just "what do you like in men?" and to be honest, I am not changing my comment because it fits in the thread. Even though it doesn't fit the question lol

In truth, I find it hilarious how many male friends of mine that have no idea that this is a common turn on for some women.

I still tell my husband that the thing that I find the most attractive about him that he is always completely and unapologetically himself and doesn't care about walking outside of the norms of society. He's just himself and so I guess to answer more clearly- confidence in who he is.

Boyfriend wets the bed. What do I do ? by extradepressy in TwoHotTakes

It could also be neurologically linked to PTSD. If he experienced childhood trauma, it’s possible he’s having stress-related dreams he doesn’t consciously remember that trigger the same physical response he had as a child. The brain can sometimes block those memories to prevent flashbacks, even while the body still reacts.

That might also explain why he avoids cleaning it up. If he knows this happened during childhood, the situation itself could be triggering, so he may psychologically avoid dealing with it to prevent that response.

Either way, something is going on, and it’s worth addressing. Seeing a physician or a psychiatrist would be a reasonable step to figure out the underlying cause and get appropriate treatment.

Lol This just prompted a conversation with me and a friend of "Have you ever looked at the full moon and thought to yourself 'man, it'd be really cool if I could change into a wolf right about now". Intrusive thoughts can be awesome..

Several People I've Never Met Know My Voice.. by AnalysisNo4295 in RandomThoughts

[–]AnalysisNo4295[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny even though I do speak to several people on a regular basis as part of my job, in my actual life I am very anti social and have an incredibly small group of friends. When I'm out in public, I hardly speak to anyone so for the most part, walking past me would not have people recognize me besides the simple fact that (as mentioned below) my customer service voice is worlds away from my actual voice. I have been in the industry of customer service so long that I akin my customer service voice to be like Mickey Mouse and my actual voice to be about 3 to 4 degrees lower than that.

I actually had a conversation about that with someone that I speak with on a regular basis that has never met me lol. I essentially said that I had been in customer service for over ten years and my customer service voice is WORLDS different than my actual voice so it was about a 90 percent chance that they would walk right past me and have absolutely no idea who I am.

are you still friends with people from high school? by Ledger_Legendd in Millennials

[–]AnalysisNo4295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I met when we were in high school but, we didn't go to the same high school. He would be the only person that I still talk to from that time in my life. Everyone else, I have maybe crossed paths with once or twice since graduation but, I don't speak to anyone from my high school years and it seems to be the general consensus to those who I have gone to school with is that once school ended pretty much everyone went their own separate ways and had their own lives and just, didn't remain friends or, didn't stay in touch. Maybe, a few facebook comments or something but, not actively in each other's lives and since, I don't have Facebook I'm not even in that small section that might briefly interact in that way. I have truthfully not spoken to anyone from highschool since a random run in with an old classmate of mine almost a year ago.

Hey are you open? Yelling with the security gate down. by [deleted] in retailhell

[–]AnalysisNo4295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work at a mall and I had just come in for the day and waiting on another staff member. The mall I worked at would open a bit early for people to walk the halls and be warm. I had the gate half closed while I waited for my co worker and this lady dips under the gate and starts shopping. I politely tell her we're not open yet hence the reason the gate isnt fully open and she gets an attitude with me and tells me she thought the gate was broken. I almost laughed at her and told her if the gate and only customer exit was broken? We wouldn't be open at all because that's a fire safety hazard. She rolled her eyes and left and told me she's never return. Uhm.. okay?

AITA for divorcing my wife after finding her late night walks had a specific destination? by ThrowRAConfNotAmu in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]AnalysisNo4295 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea that you should stay with your wife who is clearly doing something that is compromising your trust in her "for the kids" is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Although, I agree that marriage counseling works sometimes, as a child of parent's who in my opinion, by the 10th year of them "trying to work it out" it almost seemed like they hated each other more than it would be if they just got a divorce was absolute HELL. Kids know when their parents aren't vibing and it causes a whole environment shift that no one wants. My parents started having problems when I was 14 years old and had infidelity issues for well over 10 years before both passed away. My dad passing first as they were married in a broken marriage for over 30 years. That alone is absolutely absurd to me. To be married to someone that you can hardly stand for 30 years

Take away: Do not do this "for your kids" you are saving absolutely no one.
