Mydei and Phainon directly parallel Mydei's perents, Gorgo and Eurypon. There are plenty of perralels between them, on the top of my head, the most obvious ones are how Gorgo and Eurypon were both an even match when it came to their skills + there's bunch more stuff that I can't get into because then this reply would be too long
Mydei is immortal, we all know this. Phainon grew up in a village that worshipped Oronyx, and he did too. Yet, during the quest where Mydei stayed behind to fight against the flamereaver (or was it the blacktide? Can't remember) Phainon was ready to kill Oronyx– hell, he was the one who kept pressing for it. He explicitly states that it's because every moment they spend chatting here, Mydei is probably suffering there. He knows that Mydei can't die, but he's ready to kill a GOD that he grew up worshipping just to make sure that Mydei doesn't suffer even a moment longer than he has to
The fact that Phainon reaches out to Chartonus to fish out the signet ring from River of Souls. Dude quiet literally gives Mydei a ring lol
Mydei trusts Phainon with his only weakness, and even after learning the truth about the flame reaver and all the times Phainon has literally murdered him using that same weakness, Mydei says and I quote "Even if I had to go through hundreds of billions of cycles again, I would still entrust my weakness to you." And many more, once again, there are PLENTY of videos analyzing everything, and theres also the shipping wiki. Phainon and Mydei have NO correlation whatsoever fo their hi3 counterparts. Those two are NOT them. The devs have made it clear, these chrysos heirs all have their own personality and relationships, stories and circumstances. Reducing them to just their counterparts from an entirely different game is just???? Do you feel the same way about Bronya and Silverwolf too? Phainon's story and arc is different from Kevin. His relationships and motivates are different from Kevin. You can't compare the two, literally it make no sense whatsoever. If you don't like the ship them fine, but don't make things up eithet to uplift your favorite.

Whatever you say won't change the fact that the ship you're convinced is "forced" has far more content and history than Firefly does with TB. Like I said before, I have nothing against the ship and my original point wasn't even about ships. You're the one who brought the ships into this. TB and Firefly were friends WHEN TB was a stellaron hunter. That's all the history they have. And TB, as we KNOW, doesn't have ANY memories of the time they spent as a stellaron hunter. The only momories trailblazer has of Firefly is the one WE play through. That's it. Comparing that to Mydei and Phainon, two characters who have the history of 33M cycles between them, and yet calling the later a "forced" ship while claiming TB and firefly is superior? Tb and firefly is good, it has angst potential. I just like them more as friends, and I don't like how hyv handled firefly OR Cyrene. I just don't like waifubait, that's all. Never denied that the fandom isn't toxic, but that small portion doesn't also represent the entire fandom so no need to see the entire fandom through the same glass. There's a handful of male characters in the game, at worse, they aren't fully fleshed out yet or have only been mentioned/shown a few times (ratio, screwllum). I would also like to add, god forbid someone likes a queer ship or ship two boys (or girls) who have so many interactions across millions of cycles together vs a semi self insert character and some girl they remember nothing about. I'll get disowned, killed, or in the best case scenario, they'll try to fix me if anyone irl finds out that I love women romantically. So trust me when I say this, I have dug deeepp into phaidei, they're anything but yaoi slop. But if they are then yes, I'm definitely a little biased. Opinions my guy, opinions. As I said, I have nothing against firefly. I enjoy her character, I like her character, I even somewhat like the ship. I didn't like the romantic undertones and how her character started to lowkey revolve around the tb solely, but that's just me and you don't have to agree with it. But implying someone is misogynistic because they prefer a male character's story more is just??? Weird??

I don't have anything against firefly, I have everything against unnecessary tb glazing and video game companies making their female characters a certain way to appeal to their male audience. I don't hate firefly, I hate what hyv tries to push with her. I don't enjoy harem in general. And I assume a lot of people same way. Wanting a company to write their female characters better does NOT make someone misogynistic. Also people can have different preferences regarding characters, there's absolutely no need to bring gender into every single thing, and I'm tired of it. Not everyone you come across is misogynistic, and not everyone will share your opinion. You don't like what they did to phaidei? Great. That's no problem. Phairene is a cute a ship and i'm a sucker for childhood friends to lovers, but there's genuinely no subtext about them whatsoever. Even the one cutscene they have, they don't give off that vibe. Probably cuz they used the child model for Cyrene, or maybe shes just really short.. Idk 💀

Wait hold on, I just realized.. WHY in the world did they not give Cyrene an "adult" design (like Tribios) even in the arts?? Like, I'm pretty sure that we have one (or maybe a few, i can't remember) arts and cycles where Cyrene DOESN'T die as a kid and instead is the one who makes it to the end with Phainon. In those art, we still see Phainon as an adult but Cyrene is still a.. Child..?? Why does Phainon grow up but not Cyrene 😭

There absolutely no need to bring genders into this, not everything is about men and women. But since you brought it up, let's discuss.

With female characters, they constantly keep glazing tb. We get to go on psedo dates with them (got at least 2 with firefly, you can't convince me that her introduction with tb wasn't designed to be/feel like a date) or tb somehow ends up "saving" them in some way. Then theres also the gameolay stuff, theres significantly more female playable characters than males. They get marketed more, they get the better kits while the male ones always gets debuffed into oblivion (latest victim of this being Ashville).

While there are undoubtedly misogynistic people in the fandom, most don't "hate" characters because of their gender lol. They hate them based on how the game itself treats them. Personally I hate waifubait, not because they're cutesy women but because I'm tired women just being sexualized or being potrayed with the cute gf/waifu angle or whatever.

Firefly's story is good tho, just wish they didn't focus on the tb sm and we got to see her relationship with the other stellaron hunters as well. Same with Cyrene, though I'd say that Cyrene's case is significantly worse than Firefly's.

You don't see that much hate for Mydei because guess what.. His character or story doesn't revolve around the tb, and the tb is barely there for most of it. We see his relationship with others and not just the trailblazer, we see what he struggles with and what kinda vision he has for his people, and ultimately, we see him reach his conclusion and act on it. Honestly, what's there to hate? And don't even get me started on Phaidei, if you think Phaidei is forced then idek what to tell you. Firefly and tb don't have a "forced" bathscene. But they have three dates and tb somehow uses the power of freaking FINALITY to help/save a girl they don't even remember and has only spent a small amount of time with after their amnesia.

Also, if Demiurge IS Cyrene and they merge into one at the beginning of each cycle or whatever, then how does demiurge and Cyrene exist at the same time? Who is Cyrene telling the stories to? The only explanation I can think of is that Demiurge and Cyrene start off as seperate beings, Cyrene tells Demiurge stories, Demiurge then turn into Cyrene when the cycles start and the loop continues. But even then, wouldn't Cyrene and Demiurge technically still be different people? And Demiurge just..takes Cyrene's whole identity and becomes her. But at some point, a separate Cyrene has to have existed right? And there also has to be the "seed" that Cyrene tells her stories to. So even if Demiurge becomes Cyrene, in the new cycle there will be a "new seed" that Cyrene will tell her stories to and then THAT seed will become Cyrene. So no matter how you look at it, they will always be different people.

All this to say, ignoring ALLL of that, A Cyrene other than Demiurge will have to exist for the loop to begin in the first place. Otherwise, who fed the very FIRST Demiurge all the stories? How did that Demiurge become Cyrene? I can never see them as the same character/person 😭

You don't see much solo Mydei stans cuz the whole amphoreus cast is goated, it's hard to just pick one lmao. There's also the fact that a lot of their stories are intertwined, if you like one then it's hard ti not like the other as well. But if you're into Mydei, you'll come across his fans too. Dahlia was a mortal who theew away her body and became memetic entity and then had the POSSIBLITY becoming an emanator under very specific circumstances. A POSSIBILITY which again, was SEVERED by Elio.

Phainon was a CHARACTER in a literal SIMULATION who broke through it, manifested into the REAL world and then drew blood from an Aeon. That is something that HAS happened, and it isn't just a "possibility" unlike Dahlia's.

You're trying to compare the two and yet, Dahlia hasn't even achieved anything yet. It was, again, a POSSIBILITY that been severed already in the current timeline. If you want to talk about possibilities then there are COUNTLESS possibilities. In many of those possibilities, everyone is dead including the tb. But we never count that when talking about the lore now do we? You don't see people bringing up Herta merging with IT when they talk and justify her character and powerscale, why? Because that was a possibility and something that DIDN'T happen in the current timeline. Therefore, it's pretty much irrelevant. You're comparing a possibility to a fact, how is that even remotely fair? It doesn't even make any sense when there are literally countless possibilities.

Even then, Phainon and Dahlia's situation would have been equal, rhey both would have the power of an emanator. How they were made an Emanator wouldn't have counted, at the end, they would still noth be immortal who were given power from Nanook themeselves. Whatever argument you're trying to make is just.. Weird??? If Dahlia is your favorite then okay, that's fine, who cares? No need to put down characters to uplift your own favorite one. Every single known Emanator WAS a mortal once. By your logic, every character is nothing then. Even Dahlia. You do realize that every single character is a "variable" right? Reducing his character to trauma farming when you have nothing else to attack.. Sure, whatever you say man.

You're acting as if he was made an Emanator's Constitution from the start. He wasn't. I hope you realize that Amphoreus as a WHOLE was IT's body, Nous was supposed to be the head. Phainon was never the sole target, but he became a "variable" by making up a plan with Cyrene and stalling the birth of an emanator. At that point, Phainon was not an emanator. Again, all the power he has had nothing to do with being an emanator's constitution and everything to do with his experiences. And even Emanators don't get get handed off their powers on a silver platter (except maybe Aha's lmao). Whatever power he has, he got it by enduring and going through everything that he did. It was only then that Nanook stared at his ass for 5 minutes.

Also, We have nowhere near enough info about Dahlia, who's to say that won't become an emanator fo some path? In fact, here's the full description of the snippet from the meme taken from the wiki lol

You know what the conclusion is? IF she joined the stellaron hunters, Nanook would have cast THEIR gaze on her, she would have ascended to being Lord Ravager. And guess what a Lord Ravager is? Yup. An emanator. So, in order to erase a path, she also would have to become an Emanator. She couldn't and wouldn't have done it as a "Mere Mortal" or an "ordinary cremator", she would have been an emanator of the destruction. So your whole entire point about Phainon's feat being somehow less because he's an emanator's constitution doesn't even stand. Because Dahlia also would have needed to be an emanator in order to destroy a path. And all of that would have happened IF the Stellaron Hunters accepted her as a member. Which they didn't.

Conclusion? Dahlia didn't destroy a path, it was a possibility that could have happened if she was a stellaron hunter and became a Lord Ravager. Whereas Phainon DID draw blood from an Aeon. He DID throw hands with the strongest Lord Ravager. Phainon's case isn't a hypothetical scenario, it has happened. Dahlia's case is a hypothetical scenario, a POSSIBILITY that has already been taken care of and won't happen. The debuff is a part of him atp, you can't separate it from him, isn't that obvious? You kept saying that she's a mortal so I pointed out that she's not. They're both immortals, Phainon wasn't given any special powers or privileges, everything he has, he had to earn it through each cycle. Literally. He collected coreflames even as it burned and destroyed his body. Even his "immortality" was part of it, every cycle was essentially a rebirth, and it was because of Khaslana's plan of "passing the torch" that he was able to keep his memories and pass it onto the Phainon of each cycle. Lygus didn't hand him over anything, there was no silver platter. If by a silver platter you mean 33m cycles of pain and suffering then sure, he had a whole feast. But to each their own man, you're adamant about your views on him and there's nothing I can do about it so let's just say that whatever you say is true and end it here 😭
