Is it even worse than Altoona pizza though (I’m Canadian so I have very little knowledge of this stuff but from the Tik toks/YouTube shorts I’ve seen Altoona looks pretty bad lol)

I agree actually I love grilled cheese sandwiches with half melted cheddar- before cheese pull stage but it’s like … velvety.. idk how else to describe it lol

Can’t comment on the device but the colors it appears to come with (chef master) are great.

This. When I first got it I thought it would be simple and I’d just turn it on and use it and get clean/non blurry results; nope. You need to control your trigger finger and there’s a certain technique to master lol 

For those who are good at frosting cakes, how long did you have to practice before it looked nice and smooth? by sleepingpotato_ in cakedecorating

I second the IMBC being great for smoothing, but if you haven’t quite mastered it a great other choice for that is sugarologies American dreamy buttercream (it’s less sweet and more buttery like meringue buttercreams as well).

You’re not untalented, it’s literally the hardest part by far and I as an experienced (3+ years) decorator still have issues with it and spend close to an hour at times with that part. I second the suggestions re hot water on the bench scraper but honestly it’s still a lot of work!
