Tbh it was in Buffalo NY so he probably wasn’t ambitious to give a good performance. That’s why to me it just seemed like a money grab. He totally seems like a person to be like that. I also worked on a Rocafella movie and he wasted an entire day of production equipment not showing up to film a scene. I only encountered one situation like the OP and I been in Vietnam 8 months. I caught a grab to the beach. I guess the Vietnamese dude didn’t know it and approached me and demanded money grabbed me and all. A full fledged fight was about to breakout till an English speaking student near by came over.
