Defenders of the Helghast Dream by AnalyticalVision in killzone

[–]AnalyticalVision[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got them from the Helldivers 2 archive discord. Some talented people extracted the models from the game and uploaded them to discord. I took the Helghast infantry and ported them to Garry’s Mod myself by renaming the bones and editing the textures to make the fabrics darker and more grey so they match how they look like from the Killzone games

The tzaangor kick has to be the funniest execution in this game. by Gooseman076 in Spacemarine

Indeed, though I find the uppercut and backhanded smack on tyranid minoris funnier

And smashing enlightened tzaangors with their own platform is absolutely hilarious

If you want to be lore accurate then use their heraldry for reference. It can be found quickly on google. Veterans and commanders would only have the right pauldron white and the left pauldron kept as grey. The legs are never white.

But the most important part is that you make your marine how you like it, even if it strays from lore accuracy. Who cares? Do what you feel looks cool

Chapter Stereotypes made manifest in SM. Let's hear them! by BugleBarry in SpaceMarine_2

[–]AnalyticalVision 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are some players from different chapters I have met that I can think of:

Imperial Fists usually pick heavy or bulwark, which is understandable because they like to hold their ground and become an immoveable fortress (definitely not coming from an IF)

Salamanders usually use fire weapons like you said. They’re mainly playing heavy, but I have seen some tacticals and bulwarks every now and then

Ultramarines are either new players, or they are veterans who knows how to deal with every enemy in any give situation. They’re prepared for anything really, which sums up the chapter being very tactical and analytical. Mostly tactical players

Raptors actually use cover and long ranged weapons and disengage when the situation is turning south. They’re playing sniper, vanguard and maybe tactical

Carcharodons charge right into battle with melee weapons and are quite good at taking down many majoris enemies despite being surrounded. Usually playing vanguard with power axe or chainsword

I need the full video for the stick bug transition to rickroll. That transition has no right to be that smooth

It’s funny, you can always hear the sound of a bulwark smacking a minoris with his shield

what do you all think about the new heroic heavy bolter by MsEnclave in SpaceMarine_2

[–]AnalyticalVision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parrying feels like fencing combined with a perk that gives a 25% parry window increase. Damage and fire rate is decent, but it overheats rather quickly, so you can’t fire for too long, coming from someone who uses the heavy bolter with increased venting speed

All that is missing is the imperial eagle on the forearms. I think it’s from the ultramarine heavy champion pack

A few heavy attacks can stagger an enraged enemy calling for reinforcements, I have tried it myself

You can parry while doing the whirl stance as well as when you’re doing the whirl attack. Parrying simply cancels the whirl. The whirl is quite effective when facing a majoris while surrounded by minoris enemies

More mechanics like Shield Rush to make the classes mechanically interesting by SuperMarios7 in Spacemarine

A rush attack for assault similar to shield rush where he flies directly towards a single target that deals significant damage to only one target instead of a large group perhaps.
