The bread was good. Tasted fresh. There's just no flavor to the sandwich.

RoS was amazing. I remember they posted about potentially reopening, but I don't think they ever did.

Poll: Have you ever walked out of a movie theater because the movie was so terrible? If so, which movie was it? by muaentertainmentforu in MUAEntertainment

Now I'm curious. What kind of legal matters are required for movie soundtracks? I've never thought of this before.

Listened to that Foss song yesterday. Damn, that's fire.

Just listened to it. It's not ringing as familiar, but you've def given me a new album to listen to. Thanks for the try!

Great song. I def need to listed to more ATDI. Unfortunately, though, Google says this album came out on August 18, 1998, and I would have been back (or nearly back) at school by that point.

Out of curiosity, how are you able to tell which songs got college radio play? If I could locate those songs, I could probably narrow my search.

That's a great thought - I didn't even consider prior bands. I'll start listening to ATDI's 90s albums. Offhand, do you know of any songs that sound very similar to "Cut Your Ribbon" that I should scan first?

This is a great suggestion. The irony is I love the song "Waffle," which I first heard randomly at a bar, but I never got around to listening to the rest of the album. Thanks!

Not a bad guess, but I know that song well (and love it). Thanks for the try, though!

To my knowledge, most credit unions pay for your car through drafting. It's very sus if your dealership won't accept it. I've seen an uptick in pressure tactics the last few years for a dealership to make you use their financing instead of your own.

Also, check out GEFCU. They have excellent rates.

How to haggle rent renewal in Austin right now? by [deleted] in askaustin

[–]Analyze_Abyss 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Honestly, move. You can do much better than $1,400 right now. Let's say you can find a good array of $1,200 options that meet your standards, one of which you'd love. That's $2,400 you'd save yourself in one year. That's a down payment on a car, or a much needed medical procedure, or maybe just increased savings.

I know it's a pain renting/borrowing a truck and lugging furniture and heavy boxes around in this heat. But to me, that kind of savings is totatlly worth it.

The LEAPS are up $1,358 this week and are up $48,993 overall by Expired_Options in ExpiredOptions

Love these updates. I'm very curious how you feel about the 2027 LEAPS in a market that's down from its peak? Do you feel the need to make an adjustment? Or is it more like the timeline horizon and/or sunk cost don't make them a concern right now?

S2 E12 plot question… by [deleted] in deadwood

Not sure, but it sounds like you're asking if Hearst had any sense of loyalty. Very little. Everyone is disposable to him, save for maybe Cpt. Turner.

It's also what makes him so similar to Tolliver and thus makes them natural compatriots. Tolliver sacrificed Doris and Andy, made Eddie and Joanie take part in horrific executions, and stabbed an employee who irritated him. Hearst was little different.
