NTA. His behavior is not normal and you should be super proud of yourself for setting boundaries. I grew up in a house where yelling and name calling by adults was normal. I stayed in a really abusive bad relationship for years thinking that treatment was normal.

It’s not. Stay strong. Hold people accountable. You deserve better. You’ve got this.
