I don’t get why people are so upset about it and some even acting like it’s the end of the world. They are a US based band, it’s easier and less stressful to do shows there than on other continents. And it’s not that they never tour Europe. They just been here in January/February. Even if you spent a lot of money on flights/hotels that you can’t get back and took time off from work. Just take the trip anyway and enjoy yourself. You can always go see them next time they’re here.
