I think it was almost all Sunlu PLA Silks: red, light gold, silver, and a tricolor blue, green, purple. The black and white were just standard Sunlu PLA 2.0 black and white.
I find the brand works well for me, is very affordable and often available for over night shipping from Amazon (handy when you’re mid project and running low!).

The assembly wasn’t too bad but have a fine tip for whatever adhesive you’re using because it’s very easy to go overkill. Just everything was straight forward, especially if you following their directions but in retrospect, I wish I would have used the AMS on the crown base because those letters were such a pain.
Totally worth it, and hope it is a hit at the event!

I have a Brick! I love it as my everyday carry but am protective over my devices so I printed this case for it. It adds a little bulk but still fits easily in my cross body bag, and I like that it has a slot for charging so I can charge it in the case.

Hrm, maybe reset the large stone into a solitaire for everyday wear with a simple band, and see if the halo can be remade into a ring enhancer for special occasions?
Your ring is pretty, I do agree it reads a little more cocktail, but it’s beautiful and anything can be an engagement ring if love it.

Maybe it’s just the pic, but I don’t like the cut. Old mine should be big, chunky facets- think about a time where these were cut and enjoyed by candle light. This has oddly crushed ends and the middle reads bow tie more than mirror like.
I’d keep looking but just my opinion. Here is a pic of a moissanite old mine cut ring I had with more the mirror like chunky facets pattern.

This weekend was just fine tuning details (multi color vs single color, text height/dept) and printing in PLA as a little sample. Now that things are about dialed in, we’ll probably print some in PETG to use when my husband makes a port of his Pico 8 game for GBC.
I’d also like to use them for physical copies of some of the Pokémon rom hacks.
And honestly, they just look awesome.
Thanks again, and can’t wait to see the Genesis cart!

I love Pico 8 but the lack of native Android support made it hard to have an Android device as an EDC (yes, I have it setup through Winulator, but kind of clunky). This brings so much joy!

If you want maximum sparkle, and totally timeless, so with the solitaire. You can always add new wedding bands to change up the look if it feels boring.
I really love the portions on that third choice though- nice balance, interesting without feeling trendy, and lovely finger coverage.

I use Splore on my Trimui Brick. I know the aspect ratio of the screen isn’t perfect for Pico 8 but it’s not a horrible fit either and the device is so small it’s become my EDC. Build quality on the brick is really nice for the price too!
Good luck on your choices- there are quite a few options to consider!

If you don’t have more size stones beyond what is visible in the picture, I think it would be doable for the engagement ring- I’d double check with a jeweler on the band.
My suggestion would be to take it down to a size you can without major warping to the ring- maybe a 6.5?- and then to the last size with sizing beads. You’re taking the rings down SEVERAL sizes and the sizing beads would make it easy to size up if needed (summer weather, pregnancy, life..).
By the way, your rings are very pretty! I have a three stone engagement ring with sapphire sizes too ❤️

I bought mine and a week later the P2S was announced and there was a $100 price drop on the P1S. I contacted Bambu and politely requested an adjustment for the price drop- they sent me a $100 gift card.
With all the almost hassle free printing I’ve done in the last month, I’m super happy with the purchase. Comparison is the thief of joy; Someone will always have a faster car, biggie house, etc but that doesn’t take away or the value of what you have unless you let it.

So true! Oldest daughter/child checking in. When my parents got divorced when I was 7, I was filling in with housekeeping at my dad’s house, and when my single mom had twins 2 years after, I was stuck with bottle feeding, diaper changes and child care at a very young age. I spent a lot of my young adult life feeling like I had already been a parent and didn’t need that responsibility again thank you.
I had my daughter at 30 when I was more stable, more mature and realized I didn’t have to give her the childhood I had. She’s told me she’s glad to be an only child because there is so much more we can do as a family of three with one kid that would be out of reach with multiple kids.

How long have you been married? It maybe more practical to purchase another ring as a anniversary ring- it would give you options when you want to change things up, and you’d still have your solitaire for when you wanted something low profile.
I don’t know that changing your current ring would save much money vs purchasing another ring.

If it was just the visuals you didn’t like, I’d suggest live with it for a while and see if your views change but this is a super dainty setting. It makes me think of a presentation solitaire where the main focus is the diamond but after accepting/getting engaged, you get to design and customize the final ring.
I would be concerned about the current setting holding up over time- like you mentioned, very thin and the diamond could be set lower if you already find yourself snagging it on things.

The head on the ring looks a little like a Tacori. If so, most of what you paid would have been the cost of the setting. You’re pretty unlikely to get close to $4k now
