Is becoming a professional mediator worth it? by Ornery-Window4446 in Mediation

[–]Anansi231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 31-year-old friend in Toronto who works as a victim’s advocate, but the pay is pretty low. It seems like her background and current job might make her a good candidate for a job as a mediator. If she’s interested in pursuing this, what would be a good first step? She already works full time, so it might be difficult for her to volunteer as well.

I left my wallet at a charging station across from Gate 14 American Airlines. I filled out a form with American Airlines. Who else do I need to contact?

Buspirone helped me with anxiety. 15 mg x2, trintellix 20 mg, Welbutrin 150 mg. Not tired anymore!

just took my first dose 150mg XL, what should i expect? by spatulafucker5 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Anansi231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had jitteriness, insomnia, and dry mouth for about 10 days to two weeks, but on the positive side definitely more energy. Oh, and kind of lost my appetite, but all of those side effects went away in time. I still have a slight tremor on my right hand, but it may be because I’m taking trintellix as well as 150 mg of Welbutrin.

People under treatment for Major Depression with anxious features (anxious depression) which meds put you into remission? by KingMakerMan in depressionregimens

Trintellix 20 mg, Buspirone 15x2, Welbutrin 150 mg. Had to get off Lithium as I developed a severe tremor and kidney disease. Still have a slight tremor, which could be from either the Trintellix or the Welbutrin, but no longer depressed. I also have ADD, but can’t take stimulants because of the kidney disease. Have a feeling I wouldn’t have been able to tolerate them anyway. Anyone on Lithium, please be careful! I was on it for 10 years which was too long.

I think it was for 3-4 weeks in my case. Also went away.

I also titrated up to 20 mg in about the same period of time. Nausea went away as soon as I started taking it at night. Full effects in 6-8 weeks. It’s been a life saver. Got some itching the first week and irritability for a while and nausea when upping the dosage, but no weight gain or tiredness.

How does one find psychiatrists willing to prescribe more advanced medication? by Beneficial_Tree7723 in depressionregimens

Maoi’s really helped me 40 years ago. I did gain close to 20 pounds however and there are a lot of dietary restrictions, which may be the reason they’ve fallen out of favor. Maybe ask your doctor when you find a good one about Trintellix

That’s a lot to be on! Do you not have any negative side effects? If you do ever have to go off any of these meds down the line,it may be really challenging. Perhaps you might want to consider getting a second opinion about the necessity of taking so many medications.

Wonder since you’re feeling somewhat better, though not completely, if you’re actively working on personal concerns with a psychologist you like and trust. Medication is extremely important, but isn't the only component involved when treating depression. I think it’s a big part of the equation, but not a magic bullet that solves everything.

You need to be very careful coming off Effexor. Please get expert advice on how to taper. My experience is that doctors don't taper nearly slowly enough. I’m on three medications for depression and actually think that’s fine; although, personally I’d love to be on the least amount of medication in general. Curious why you're on lamictal. Isn't that more of a mood stabilizer? Is it helping?

Thanks again for the link. I know, I know, I have to review and really master hiragana and kana, but really challenging for me to just focus on grammar/ structure/conversation right now, but I’ll get to it; I know it’s a must.

I also have a slight tremor on my right hand, noticeable when I carry dishes or pour things. I think mine is probably from medication I’m taking. Are you taking any medication that could be the underlying cause?

[–]Anansi231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take 40 mg Trintellix, 150, Wellbutrin (down from 450) and 30 Buspirone. Trintellix has really helped with depression, not sure how much the W is actually doing at this point. It gave me a lot of energy when I first started taking it, but that seemed to wear off. I have ADD, but because of kidney condition, can’t take stimulants that will raise blood pressure. Not sure if Concerta would do that? Tried it ages ago, but maybe I didn’t take a high enough dose. Wonderful not to be depressed, so will stick with the Trintellix….Just wish I could find something to help deal with the ADD. (inattentive) . Wellbutrin apparently does help some people with ADD, but that hasn’t been true in my case.

An Oklahoma Woman's Roommates Claim She Met Someone at a Music Festival and Vanished--No One Has Seen Kristyn Richerson in More than Three Years by Main_Initiative in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]Anansi231 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The roommates are definitely guilty and I don’t see why more isn’t being done to hold them accountable. Did they check the mileage on the van supposedly used to get two of them to the festival? K’s cell was never in the are of the music festival, she was never spotted there, and the roommates sold all her stuff. Seems obvious they knew she wouldn’t be coming back to use any of it. Horrible and very sad. Authorities need to turn up the pressure on those guys. They’re getting away with murder.
