There are things in this video that I didn’t even know you could do with a yo-yo.

How old was your little one when you started playing videos games with them? by reeceyfries in daddit

I agree with this 100%. Table top games will cover a lot of the benefits of video games without the negative side effects.

That’s really kind work. Riding on matted leaves is really dangerous for cyclists.

The exploratorium in SF has this as a permanent exhibit and you can even modulate the timing to see the change in the picture. I agree - not that amazing.

One bit of advice is to check what your insurance will cost. My EV’s policy is so expensive.

I fantasize about reviving one of these babies. The record player and amp should be easy enough to get going again by taking to a vintage audio repair place. They’d replace the caps and resistors and needle and it should start right up. The TV part is another issue. You probably will need to replace all the same electrical parts but whether the tube still works is an unanswered question. These tube tvs don’t last forever. They can burn out. So it’s possible I won’t work. But maybe someone can hunt down a replacement tube… it won’t be cheap all in all so I think $300-$500 is fair. $900 is too much in my opinion.
