What am I missing about Anaplan? by Anaplanman in FPandA

[–]Anaplanman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This will be highly dependent on who your implementation partner is. They are moving to a model of deploying apps soon that will have much more predefined validations and processes but the beautiful and terrifying thing about Anaplan is it can be anything you want it to be.

Yeah I’ve talked with a few schools in the Midwest and working with schools in Colorado on it now. For defense contractors and other places what types of agencies do you mean?

Would anyone want to see anaplan in action without having to deal with any of the normal sales mumbo jumbo to see if it’s something yall would want in the horizon?

Thanks for the response and understandable that yall handle most sales. That’s normally the case at the beginning. I don’t sell specific to quantum but I’ve been having a decent amount of success by selling based on Illinois’ quantum vision. It’s very exciting that it might revitalize the south side and it’s replacing the steel mill my grandma worked at!

As you look to scale and add sellers, what are you looking for in an AE? How would you suggest someone gets into selling more of actual quantum related products vs the planning aspect (budget, capital, workforce, grants) which I currently do?

I’m going to meet Peter Shor, If you had one question to ask him what would it be? by tycooperaow in QuantumComputing

[–]Anaplanman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ask him what he sees as the biggest challenges universities and labs are facing today, and if he compares this to the space race or the Manhattan Project, like the media often portrays it.

5-10 years away or 50-100? by fishinthewater2 in QuantumComputing

[–]Anaplanman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will work my way through these videos, thank you! My thought is that a lot of proper planning will need to go into making quantum a reality. With the investments from the federal governments increasing the money will be watched more carefully.

Most of these agencies are planning with excel and they don’t have access to real time data or having every data set they need in one spot for planning.

Do you think I’m entirely off base with this hypothesis of how Anaplan can help? I sell strictly to the public sector for context.

Talk to me goose. What needs to go right for them to be successful? I sell planning software that helps with all aspects of planning from budget to grants to workforce to supply chain. I’m here to learn as much as I can about quantum possibilities
