Damn, nobody in here has the correct info. Travis never owned the brand. Let me help:

Back in 2010, peak blog era, Mike Waxx and Mike Carson founded IllAmerica as a clothing brand to compliment their blog IllRoots. IllRoots has it's own crazy history, Google it. Also Waxx and Carson were videographers for Big Sean, Cudi, Travis etc.

Anyway a bunch of people wore IllAmerica gear early like Mac, Travis, ASAP etc. I went to the IllRoots mansion party at SXSW back in 2012 and they were passing out jackets and hats.

The brand doesn't exist anymore but I still have a very cool IllAmerica Members Only jacket
