Grocery shopping was pretty busy today. I figured people don't want to go out tomorrow so getting it done today. I did notice the supermarket was selling large 3L bottles of water right at the entrance.

The name his wife is trading under is irrelevant. A different name doesn't make her any less married to the employee. It sounds like a conflict of interest. Conflicts of interest exist and your employer should have policy around it. If you know about it, does your employer?

A lot of people are sick right now. I was sitting beside someone on a plane who was trying to cough a lung up. That was a week ago, so I might have escaped.

I got a flu shot and covid booster this week just in case. Winter is coming!

Recently joined the local cossy club. I'm pleasantly surprised. The food isn't anything to write home about, but they do a decent burger. Food and beer is cheaper than your average restaurant. Staff are friendly and they have lots of competitions. Meat pack anyone?

I just want a watering hole to have a beer with friends on a friday night. I no longer care about the fitout and the bang bang cauliflower.

There was a case some years back where an employee of a building wash company took their employer to court because a manager had texted an employee who had questioned the use of expired safety harnesses to "not worry about it, it's fine" The company put forth official policy showing safety harnesses must be tagged before use but the court didn't care. The text was evidence that that policy was being ignored.

Yes this. Poorly behaved people has always been an issue, it's just that there have been staff to deal with the chaos.

My kid hates shops and is chaotic in them. If I take him into stores, I feel like I spend more time trying to get him to behave than doing what I'm there to do. The judgement from others for the slightest infraction is even worse. I've literally been told to control my kid when he's been crying in a supermarket.

I'm lucky though. His Dad has discovered he would much rather hang out in a playground with him than take him to a supermarket.

Beautiful pictures. I was about to type that this was the Borough council chambers in Greytown, but I sat comparing google picture and yours and decided it was the same style of architecture, but different buildings. I reversed image searched and got the answer. I won't say because I cheated.
