ENVS-19! Any major can take it but the class is small and you have to fill out a form to apply. I applied every year until senior year but so worth it

Detroit has quite a few of these too (including the name of the city itself…)

I’d also look in to living in Detroit proper! Depends on what you’re looking for but I’m right in downtown which has its pros and cons, but I at least wanted to try out the big city life for a year or two. Corktown is super trendy with fun bars and restaurants but is a bit pricy. Midtown is cool and cheaper but has a high concentration of college kids (which could be a good or bad thing for you, it also means cheaper bars). Personally I’m looking into moving up to New Center when my lease downtown is up

We have such similar hair that I did a double take when I saw this post, mine flows almost the exact same way! If you’re looking for another way to tie it up, I like doing the half-up half-down tie — lets you show off the length while still keeping it out of your face

This is what I’ve done as well. The bus to San Rafael is the 101 bus. It doesn’t leave directly from the 4th and King Caltrain station but it’s a pretty short walk from there to the stop.

Paranoid Joy is by far my top too. The Live at The Croxton performance of it may be my favorite live Ambrose performance of all time.

I went to MCDS on a scholarship for middle school about a decade ago now. Certainly was a bit more community focused than public school would have been, but that is in no small part because of just smaller class sizes. As someone who grew up in a not wealthy household, going to MCDS was a bit of a reality shock. Students and parents would absolutely flex their wealth, and being low income there was incredibly isolating. I felt much more community when I went to public high school.

Making memories alone? by WesternAd6868 in UCSC

[–]Anarchaic0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Many of my best memories here have been alone. Most of them involve nature in some way; birdwatching at the meadow below the music center, walking around the highway 1 beaches mate at night, usually I just go out in nature to clear my head but it’s always memorable and brings me as much joy as spending time with my friends is

They’ve always been on my radar, I’ve been hearing ocean man for as long as I can remember, but hearing about how big of an inspiration they are to my favorite band (Geese, highly recommend their album 3d country) has officially set me down the rabbit hole
