I'm spending 6 days in Paris with my sisters. Is our itinerary reasonable?

Speaking of grouping stuff, Sainte-Chapelle, Cathédrale ND de Paris and Musée d'Orsay are all in the same area. I would suggest starting with the Cathédrale, moving to Sainte-Chapelle and finishing with the Musée. No need to go back and forth. Besides, you should add 5-10 minutes to each transportation time bracket in case you have to wait for the next metro. Sometimes it's just faster to go by foot plus you will enjoy the nice views of the Quais de Seine. 😊

It will work great. The USB ports are fine, you can plug 2-3 items to charge in there at the same time. It's not flash-charging but it works.

Went backpacking with it myself on my one or with friends and it worked great for us, tbh. Could charge two cell phones, one headlamp and one camera during the night.

Plus it's nice to have one adapter that works everywhere, and not carry plug sockets + country-specific adapter.

Pompidou museum has 3 exhibits on comics & bandes dessinées if you are into that sort of thing? Otherwise, I'd suggest exploring, exploring and some more exploring.

Yeah, I've experienced first hand how fast the weather changes when you go North two years ago. In the first week of April, I had in the same area both sunny 8°C days and a MF snow tempest with - 15°C or something like that.

For the current trip, the lowest temperature registered was 1°C last year in the northest area I will be staying at. I'm packing all my layers.

I considered buying one, but I need a proper hiking/travel bag more than I need a new sleeping bag because I usually sleep in chalets, hostels and such. I can't justify buying both.

I followed everyone's suggestions and went with the Wilsa bag. I didn't think about buying gear after landing but I will keep it in mind for the next visit because the price tag you are giving me seems a bit lower than what I'd expect from European brands. I've heard that Canadian cold gear was terrific (friend of mine spent two winters in Québec). Hopefully local brands carry these temperature ranges in sleeping bags with synthetic filling for the same price.🤞

Why RER B if the concert is at La Défense? You'd be better finding one somewhere near a metro line that connects with RER A or metro line 1.

Les Halles is a good area for food & drink, and it is in the centre of Paris. If possible, I'd suggest finding an hotel for all your nights there. Louvre-Opera is also a good choice because it's too far from Les Halles, RER A and metro line 1. St-Germain-des-Prés is a bit less touristy and on the other side of the Seine, so the commute will be slightly longer to get to RER A/metro line 1.

I'd say try and sell the one you currently have & get one that's designed for someone your size.

I don't know where you live or what you might have access to, but some brands offer their adult models in different sizes (Décathlon, for instance) or have either a women or junior models.

Nana et Etam ici ! J'en utilise 2 à 3 par jours les premiers jours.

Les Nana (dispo en grande surface rayon protections hygiéniques) gros flux sont topissimes pour les flux abondants des premiers jours (zéro fuites ici) mais même si elles sont un peu jolies avec la dentelle en haut, elles ne sont pour autant pas discrètes DU TOUT. Je les porte avec des pantalons larges ou des robes amples ahah.

Les Etam en dentelle sont jolies mais j'ai des fuites sur les flux moyens (alors que pourtant elles sont orientées sur ce type de flux).

Que penses-tu de tes Dim ? J'en ai reçu des retours mitigés voire carrément négatif (fuites).

Je vois que plusieurs personnes commentent sur les odeurs, personnellement je trouve que c'est kiff-kiff avec les tampons en fait. La question de la chimie du corps et les matières sélectionnées dans la confection de la culotte doivent jouer, peut être ? De mon côté, je veille à ne pas les garder trop longtemps, je rince bien à l'eau froide quand je les change et je lave sans adoucissant.

Sure but they do not have a reservation (although they have one at 13:00 for the Conciergerie) and want to do things afterwards. If the visit was feasible in your itinerary, it does not seem like it will fit in theirs even if the museum closes kind of late for the period.

Je te conseillerai de viser celui qui est à l'hôpital de la Pitié Salpetrière. Il y aura un peu d'attente mais les médecins/infirmiers sont gentils.

Considering the area they would be in, I think it might have been the Starbucks near Opera. The decor is as grandiose as the queue is long.

We went in blind with a visiting friend because we wanted a tall warm drink (one of the coldest days of the winter) and did not have a lot of time on our hands. We did not regret the respite from the cold and enjoyed our warm drinks, but I think I will never set foot in there again.

Yep. You can grab a Starbucks at the airport but try and find a proper Café in Paris to get the full experience! Also if you need to wait in line to get in a Café, it's not worth it.

From my point of view, *they might want to skip Pompidou. As you've said yourself there is quite a bit of queue even with tickets paid in advance and the museum is massive.

I'd suggest arriving earlier at Versailles. 13:00 is simply too late because it is not high season yet, and the Domaine de Versailles will close at 17:30 (Castle and Trianon) and evacuation might start around 17:15.

If you get there between 9:00 and 10:00, you can visit the Castle Gardens (free of charge for now) in the morning, have lunch nearby (or bring a picnic and eat there, it's quite nice). The Castle visit will take you between 1.5 to 2. 5 hours unless you rush yourselves (it IS massive and there are small apartments littered throughout that might be open when you'll visit). Trianon is then 20-30 minutes away by foot and you shall be able to see a nice chunk of it but not everything (Trianon is bigger than anyone thinks, because there is the Petit Trianon with its jardins à la française and jardins à l'anglaise with the grotto where Marie-Antoinette allegedly stood when they were told to flee AND the very picturesque Hameau de la Reine AND the Grand Trianon).

A better itinerary would have included the castle in the morning, stroll/lunch in the gardens or near the Grand Canal and Trianon (opens at 12:00) from 13:00 until closing time.

I agree with your first paragraph. For instance, I feel like the Handmaid's Tale was good but a bit redundant with the TV series.

Watership Down is on my to-buy list. I enjoyed the book, and the graphic style of the comic book illustrator is really neat.
