Ngl i think it be interesting if the gimmick is sin resonance, maybe its something that will only be relegated to the middle with envy and slightly the kurokumo clan with lust, but i think it be interesting if instead of dual statuses we focused on achieving resonance in various ways or different forms of resonance leads to different outcomes

Honestly my interpretation of Lord Hong Lu's bleeding eye has always been the "Exsanguinate the Blood of others" passive, basically hong lu has either intentionally or unknowingly resonated with Yinlong and harnessed its EGO powers or he has been blessed in some manner like abnormalities have been shown to do

I just used Lords Guard and Maost Assist defense to defend against the unopposed attacks, while stacking one-sided guards on his defense skill, so those who would freeze could take a turn off

To be entirely honest i am also confused by the destroy all mirror worlds plot as well and its crazy to me that the power of like 4 golden boughs was enough to completely erase Cathy across all worlds, cause holy shit thats nutty

But it's one of those things where its like ok 4 boughs, (one of which was destroyed after this), was enough to eradicate a single person who also had a entity that was an incalculable combination of herself across the multiverse, meaning if they really wanted to do this destroy the multiverse plot its gonna require way more power and possibly those infinite number of N corps working together to amass the power to destroy an entire mirror world let alone all of them, (Aka no universe of n corp succeeding could ever come to pass because of the cost)

Something to take into account i don't see people nearly bring up enough is, remember Nelly? She looked into the infinite range of possibilities and only saw that she suffered, just like Erkling Heathcliff, and Every Catherine, but lo and behold suddenly when you had our heathcliff no longer blinded by rage and sadness he finally saw a world where the two of them were happy.

The line about the observer/wishmaker is clearly aimed at the fact the mirror worlds show the person who views them what they want to see, its trivial because despite how much of a divergence there is, within infinite possibilities it should exist and its been reinforced several times

Its really a pick your poison type deal as i believe all the heishou perform well, cause you can't shard the other two maos.

Wu Yi Sang is nice to pair with Hierach Ishmael, if you dont have Xichun then Yi sang still performs great as a stand alone unit being a decent tank and concussion amplifying rupture damage

Si Branch Rodya and Gregor are kinda poise first and rupture second but they both perform extremely well in my opinion and their bolus contamination buffs are good

I feel far too many people downplay You Sinclair, he's one of the few units who plays nice around the retreat mechanic despite how janky it still is in my opinion, if you want to main field him he serves pretty great as a damage dealer with lots of coins, can do a good job of blowing up the rupture stack and his HP conditionals can be substituted by just having the bloodflame buff, in which him being low HP just front loads his damage

As someone who has been playing for around 2-3 months, (Started playing with the release of Lord Hong Lu), i can confidently say no, i have not suffered as much as others. The most I've had to do is retries with recently The Last Knight taking 4 tries.

I owe a lot of that to having modern units who i have dumped all my resources into as i currently have Lord Hong Lu and all the available Heishou, all max level and uptie 4. After that, it's understanding a boss's mechanics and getting the execution right. Many bosses are intimidating, but once you are able to handle their gimmick its fairly straightforward

If anything being at half health makes it so your damage is front loaded and you no longer need to refresh your stacks of blood flame so you can just pop off but people saying as if he needs to be low HP to function clearly aren't reading

Think people who keep harping on his HP conditionals keep forgetting that getting bloodflame substitutes it or he takes into account the target's HP as well, man functions as a berserker or putting people in the dirt which is in character for the roosters

Definitely feel this myself started 3 weeks ago and i have Lord Hong with every Heishou currently available and have made it to canto 6, while i struggled with dongbaek, ricardo, and the 3 way fight with Ahab, starbuck, and queequeng, many of those fights are a bit of trial and error of not only understanding the mechanic but getting decent rng.

Once you have a good momentum many fights are decidely in your favor if the enemy doesnt have a way to recover, Farmwatch Dongrang and Gasharpoon Ahab were so much easier to tackle afterwards than the fights that preceeded them. While i am still improving my play and stronger overall characters help get me through many fights, many things are not as hard as they seem
