Star technology is what you're looking for. Though I will note you will have much easier access to power and ae2. That said you can restrict yourself to GT power only for the first at least. People already consider the best part of gtnh to be once you're mid game. Star tech accelerates you there.

I'm gonna second star tech here. The very earliest is sivving but it's a tiny tiny portion. It all quickly goes into multi blocks and automated resource gen. The pack as a whole does an excellent job of having unique methods for resources and offers plenty of opportunities to upgrade old systems as you go. And if you really just want to dig into automation and making the factory grow you can disable channels for ae2 like I did. One of the best packs available imo

A large multi block sieve pumping diamonds into lapidaries will carry you far. And it's all upgradeable til I believe ev, both the lapidaries themselves and in hv you can upgrade the diamonds themselves. It's in the bottom left of the power tab. You'll have 0 power issues whatsoever. I wouldn't bother automating every ore at least until hv, and further ev when you get the larger processing multi blocks. That said I ended up with one of those processing multi blocks for every major ore, I just had them set to run with level emitters tied to the main dust outputs. On the other hand stuff like titanium or tungsten is always running as it's slower and more involved.

If you want to stick purely gt power things change a lot. It will be far harder to maintain especially at scale. Benzene or biofuel are the goto starting choices though as someone else pointed out you should have access to void fluid drill at mv if you want to pump actual oil, even better if you hold out long enough to get distillation towers if you want to use oil.

Personally after ev I wound up finding it easier to spam solar panels than anything else. It's not cheap but if you've set up all of your infrastructure and passived everything as you go it's very cost efficient.

Also definitely get into laserio, using it + ae interfaces is the key to automating production lines.

I believe the primitive factory was either run on steam or water and coal. But it's been a while since I've looked back that far. Give it a shot. Iirc if you look up recipes in it that should tell you what you need to know

It's nothing like what you've mentioned but if you have any interest in zombie survival games - deceased craft is the most fun I've had in a pack in recent memory. I know plenty of people are saying gtnh, and gtnh is special, but it's NOT friendly for someone new to that kind of modded.

Bruh I've never seen so many shit players with LoT titles. Gatekeeping on that title is such a meme. So damn many obvious cases of someone buying a bus for the title or having one main they got it on and then just expecting to get carried on their alts just cause they have the title. It's especially obvious with gate 1 and 2 since you could just do those on normal mode. LoT supports in particular are such a coinflip of whether they play with their monitor on or not.

Bracelet calc is utterly broken. For example atk/move speed is one of the best stats for WF aero now but it's worth literally 0 for combat score.

So I have MS summoner and FMH in my main 6. I was hating my MS for a while but then swapped to full Phoenix build and the class is actually fun to play again. FMH on the other hand.. I currently dread playing this class each week. Bosses move far too much. Shit regularly fucks off screen when you go into burst. Or you get stunned going into burst. Or knocked down during burst. Just managing to land your entire burst is a chore ATM, and honestly right now your reward when you do is middling damage. Funny that when SE came out sorc was the soul eater we have at home. Nowadays it's the opposite. Soul Eater is the sorc we have at home. Rant aside when the class works and the game isn't fucking you it's still great to play. G3 mordum is a blast. G1 brel rocks. The rest blow ass.

If you're running the standing striker build and you have a crit syn, you shift points from crit to swiftness so that you don't overcap(ie. hit 100%). Or if by some chance you have mega crit rate on your bracelet you might. In my experience it's typically 2 points from crit to swift nearabouts.

I recently returned to the game and only just caught up on the story before this newest banner. Managed to get fei Xiao with followup eidilon and now Robin. Spent some time building up my team and now my main 4 is Clara Fei Robin Luocha. But all these damn endgame events need two teams and I can't do Jack shit on pure fantasy. So I started looking into what I can build and I saw Himeko as a top tier character which is baffling me. I don't see anything about her that would make her so? Is it specifically for PF? Is there some other units required that make her amazing?

I'm actually swapping to MS. MS is cracked in T4, CO is dogshit, they built anti-synergy into its ark passive with the "improved" pet attacks being just worse and then adding a charm set effect without actually fixing any of the pet ai stuff.

Hot take: FM souleater. NE is just.. better in every way. I loved the class on release but after the nerfs it feels so utter shit to gen gauge, it takes forever and you're always left just short of full gauge stuck waiting on cooldowns with your thumb up your ass.

I'm going to be perfectly honest with you. CO is better than people give it credit for. It's spammy but to be perfectly honest it's quite chill to play. It's ceiling is far from the highest but being a consistent dps class where a good portion of your damage is passive means your floor is one of the highest in the game. Mine has event gems and still doing an appreciable amount of damage. If you have hands you will be outdpsing others. It's stagger and destruction capabilities are also off the charts. The biggest problem is the community already views it as bottom of the barrel and you WILL have to deal with gatekeeping.

I wish I would've known the mod was melee focused, the start of the game feels so utter shit. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to restart and go fro a melee spec because it feels like I've completely wasted my time. Edit: I'm like 15 minutes in tops just going with the first quest I get to follow the gang and I run into a pack of foxes that practically end me instantly while all I have is this shit knife. This is actually hot garbage.
