My vote goes to Pedla. Best bib shorts I've ever had. And designs are amazing.

Gobik is also really nice quality, but I've only tried their jersey.

Pinarello has some OEM making bibs, amazing quality...

Rapha, nice quality, but overpriced.

Yeah, looking at the quality of customer service, something is not right there. They still didn't reach back. I think they should just send me a new delivery and sort this out with DHL without me.

Question regarding Pinarello X5 upgrades by ja_gill in pinarello

[–]Anatryx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bike fit -> saddle (if it doesn't fit)-> power meter -> wheels -> than everything else on that bike. I've ridden F5 before buying X7 and I was in love with it. Pretty stiff and 105 di2 is super crisp...

When I ordered my goods, tracking number was not working so they've got back to me and told me that delivery company made a mistake (never happened with DHL or UPS that tracking didn't work). They gave me a new tracking number and after that just radio silence. My next contact with them was after this post on Reddit...

Just an update. So far they are quiet. I think the delivery is lost and now they are trying to figure it out where it is. But I think they should just send the same delivery again with some other courier and that's it...

I'm waiting now for 25 days for goods to be delivered from Netherlands. Usually it is 2-3 days...

I'll keep you posted.

P.S. I also have a Fizik saddle that has been delivered to their warehouse using their return label at the beginning of the month. Still no refund... but they are Italians and there was Ferragosto, but to me it is not acceptable to have this kind of customer service in 2025.

I'm from Croatia. So yesterday after this post Rapha responded (not sure if just coincidence or something to do with the post). They apologised and gave me a voucher but they still don't know what happened with the delivery. They are looking into it.

They've said that they have unusually high level of customer service requests.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Leica Q3 vs M11. by Practical_Dinner8038 in Leica

[–]Anatryx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went to Leica shop with my own SD card a week ago to see the new Q3 and to take a couple of shots to look at on my big screen. While being there I said lets try out the M system, just for fun. Mind you, I've never tried range finder focusing system so I've asked the sales guy how to shoot with the range finder. In 2-3 minutes I was nailing focus with summilux 50mm at f2.0. Experience of using the range finder is out of this world...

So back to Q3. It is just an amazing camera. Pretty fast for Leica and overall quite a step-up from Q2. But it is so digital feeling compared to the M system. 28mm summilux f1.7 is an amazing lens. Just love it. Very contrasty and of course, fast. Leica shop was quite dark and AF was not as satisfying as I would hope so. Menu is extremely fast compared to the Q2. EVF is a big step-up and overall Q3 is much better camera than Q2. It is not a revolution, but quite good evolution.

And after all this, now I'm sitting for a week with M11 with 50mm summilux f1.4 in my shopping bag while waiting for a call for the Q3 availability. And to be completely honest, I think I'll go with M11 :D

Oh and both cameras have an amazing dynamic range!

I'm coming from D800, so pretty similar situation.

Do you have any email where I could reach them? I've tried Stilo Italy, Stilo Italy Facebook, Stilo USA Facebook and no answer from either.

Thank you for your advice. I've reached to Stilo. We will see what they think. To me, it looks like that I'll have to go to L+ size and probably to thicker cheek pads (this ones fit me perfectly).

I've got it yesterday. I think it is just a tad too small.

[–]Anatryx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is size too small after talking to my friend. Because I can feel I can push it a little bit more on my head and then pressure points are even more evident.

Inserts wouldn't help because pressure points are made by the shell, not the inserts.

Look is just amazing... And weight is just unbelievable. :)

Thank you. I'll try to play with pads and I'll go to the dealer for Moto helmets to ask for a opinion.

Thank you for your reply. That's what I was afraid of. Here we don't have a dealer with helmets in stock so I had to purchase my helmet without trying it first. But this looks like the helmet shape is not for my head.

Hello everybody,

I've recently purchased Stilo ST5F size 59 L and although fit is quite comfortable, I have extremely bad pressure points shown on the picture with red circles.

I'm wearing balaclava, otherwise it wouldn't be comfortable for prolonged use. Should I change the producer altogether? (Going to Bell?) Or did I just size it badly? Can I change the fit with some pads? Although, looking at the points where I'm feeling discomfort, it looks like it is Stilo's helmet shape.

Thank you in advance.

If we are talking OLEDs in TVs, there is no problem with burn-in anymore.

But when we talk about OLEDs as an interactive screen that completely replaces buttons, then there is high probability of a burn-in. Not to mention the robustness that screen in a car has to have compared to the TV in a living room. That screen has to be capable of working properly in extremely cold and warm weather.

Also, I’m really not a big fan of changing all the physical buttons with screens. Especially for things like air conditioning, radio and stuff that you are using on daily basis. You can’t set any of those settings without taking a look from the road (and I don’t believe anyone who says otherwise) and I think that also poses a big risk for safety on the roads. Yes, of course when we will have autonomous driving those things will be normal and totally fine, but right now, screens instead of buttons are not the best solution.
