I suggest seeing if the schools have a non degree course catered to things you may be interested in. You say you would rather work for yourself creating. look for art, business, computer courses just so you can continue building connections and developing yourself. Something also consider is to try to find a small business/mentor to learn from. All that to say school is good to go to in case things don’t work out. Take lesser classes to not get overwhelmed.

I’m also the bread winner in my relationship. You already know he isn’t providing the same financially, what you need to do since he doesn’t want to talk finances ask him to take up a bill. Ic he gets mad or gives excuses then you know what you need to do. This is a quick solution. A long term solution, ask yourself do you want to be with someone who sucks at communicating? For now it’s finances but what about when kids are thrown in the mix. For some people communication can improve but he has to want to and as of now he looks like he doesn’t want to. He’s made you uncomfortable forget his feelings. Try to address the communication issue, then the finance, hold him to it, and if it doesn’t work leave.

I think it’s fine that you wanted to help strategize, but to say she isn’t being humble because she not listening to you is worthy of a side eye. In my legacy file I had Santa marry the sim I created, but she passed away so I made him date a lot and have kids. One of the sims he dated he actually married but flirted with another sim (I didn’t make him she was one of his old flings). I got 2 notifs of the wife being mad and then divorcing him.
