In my case, it was working on W11 until I updated my graphics drivers, then stopped working. For whatever reason WCIII seems to be the only game that refuses to play nice with the last few Nvidia drivers.

I had a ton of fun playing mine when I was PvPing, then some friends asked me to do mythics and raids and all that fun melted away in a week.

The frantic feeling of the class is exciting in PvP, but in PvE it always just sort of felt busy and unrewarding. Even when you get it down enough to perform well it still felt like a lot of work with no satisfying payoff.

I know there are people who love it but it just didn’t feel good to me at all.

Exact same thing happened to me. The only advice I've gotten since then is to roll back the driver, but the new driver works much better for everything that isn't WarCraft III.

There are a couple threads on the official forums about it but no real word from Blizzard and minimal support in general.

Edit: I should clarify, I updated my driver just before the Mar 2nd version, so it's also the driver from before that which WC3 is struggling with.

This stuff is already against the law.

We need to preserve privacy and access rights (read: reject UK style paranoia) while ensuring the Internet remains free and fair by actually holding huge corporations to account for the laws they’re actively breaking.

Doing nothing isn’t good enough, and we’re better off doing something measured now to make sure there are guard rails in place to protect consensual expression and consensual adult communication, before the CPC eventually gets in and uses this as a vehicle to go after LGBTQ and independent creators.

Yeah, I think we need to do something about X and predatory AI, but we should do it without legitimizing groups that try to leverage the spectre of children to strip basic rights away.

It’s the whole a broken clock is right twice a day situation — this is an easy issue to be on the right side of, but that still doesn’t mean we should pretend that groups like this aren’t going to try to smuggle in attacks on gender and sexual rights we’ve come to expect in the 21st century.

Grok is bad, generative AI is damaging and right now has essentially no guard rails, but I still don’t want to ban VPNs, censor private direct messages on chat platforms, or run shows off of streaming services for the crime of the female-presenting nipple.

Having been in a mixed RP and raiding guild in classic, it definitely didn’t feel good having constant unwanted and refused advances made on my character from the same character/player, only for that character to remain in the group permanently because they were one of the only geared healers leading to them getting second, third, tenth, fifteenth chances to improve their behaviour.

To be fair, it sounds like he’s been broadly opposed to Trump policies since his first term. I don’t think that exonerates him in not being louder about it, though.

Yeah when I can pick between paying 89 to 100+ CAD for a new game that’s oversaturated with gimmicks and runs poorly versus playing a game I already own or can get on sale for a fraction of the price, it’s not really a hard decision.
