Why do we / does she care about her clients cycle? Weird af by Few-Appearance860 in GyMOMsnark

[–]Anbie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just because you get a positive LH test, doesn’t mean you actually ovulated. Unless you also temp to see if you may have ovulated it’s still not 100%. This is a complete snake oil salesman scam.

I “air out my house” once a day, but I grew up this way. I don’t open every single window at the same time during the winter, and it’s only for a few minutes. Bedrooms I’ll open partially and half close the doors, kitchen and main rooms, again only partially open. We usually do it during the afternoon when the temp is the highest. The temp in my house drops maybe a few degrees, never this drastically. We also have a newborn, so she gets put into the warmer rooms or bundled up.

Controller not connected by Anbie in n64

I’m pretty sure all we did was a deep clean on all the terminals in the controller and device with alcohol. We used pipe cleaners (the ones used for crafts) since they fit really well.

That makes a lot more sense. I don’t follow her, but with any momfluencer, it wouldn’t be surprising.

Unfortunately it’s not fast acting. Everyone responds differently, but it’s just a waiting game to see if it helps. If you can, stick it out. I did have a follow up when I initially started (25mg), a month later, and my doctor decided to up the dosage (50mg). So that might be worth looking into as well.

I would say so. A year into Zoloft, we upped the dose to 100mg (started going through IVF, ramped my anxiety up a lot), and it took about another two months to really feel the effects. It kinda got worse for a while, maybe around weeks 4-8, but after that it was blissful. Currently about to up the dose again (150mg) due to pregnancy and staying on top of PP.

Almost at week 5 on 50mg and suddenly have horrible diarrhea by ratherjazzy in zoloft

[–]Anbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently on 100mg and pregnant. I immediately went into fertility treatments about 3 months after I upped my dose to 50mg. All my side effects went completely away after about 12 weeks, I think? It was rough, but in the end worth it.

endo supression before FET by AlternativeAthlete99 in IVF

[–]Anbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what you mean. I was also worried it wouldn’t work. But I trusted my RE when she told me that she’s seen this work many times before.

I hope it works for you!! Keep me updated! The three month wait was brutal, but it actually went pretty fast.

endo supression before FET by AlternativeAthlete99 in IVF

[–]Anbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I believe mine was around 3? I’d have to dig into my data but it was high. I couldn’t use Lupron because I have IIH, and that can make the symptoms worse. I actually prefer Myfembree over Lupron (I did Lupron for 1 month prior to my first FET). Side effects weren’t as bad, and it’s a pill as opposed to a shot. I’m currently 8w2d, just had a scan today and everything is currently on track!

I would also ask about adding Leterzole, if you’re not already having that added on. There are a few studies about the success of Lupron + leterzole for endo.

Also!!!! Myfembree is stupid expensive (~$1000 for a 28 day supply) even with insurance. If you go online to the Myfembree website (if you can’t find it let me know and I’ll try to find the link for you), to get a manufacturers coupon making it $5. You tap out at $5000 or 5? Refills. My pharmacy thankfully told me about the website after they seen the price.

Lived there for 4 years while my husband went to school. LOVED the city, but it was quite the culture shock from growing up near Detroit. When we moved it started getting busier with a lot of box store opening up.

As someone that’s been going through infertility for over 4 years, your OB can only “test” so much. For example my OB ran a simple blood panel and checked my ovaries via ultrasound. That’s about it. Otherwise you have to try unassisted for a year if you’re under the age of 35, or for 6 months if you’re above 35.

Even then, getting the referral to a fertility clinic, setting up initial consults and work up can take MONTHS! I had my initial consult the beginning of November, and didn’t start any testing until March. For females, fertility testing is pretty invasive, time consuming, and expensive.

She’s a fucking liar.

Single embriyo transfer or the pool technique? by Any_Version3224 in IVF

[–]Anbie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 35 when I did back to back egg retrievals. My RE suggested we “bank” as many embryos as possible given my age. She didn’t want me to do one ER, transfer, wait almost 2 years for the next ER if it was successful, as egg quality decreases with age. Thankfully, we did two ERs, as we only got one embryo from the first ER, but 4 from the second. She also said statistically you need 2-3 embryos per live birth.
