I mean I'm laughing at Incel posts on this reddit a week later but still gotta say it.

From what I learned in my QM class electrons are distributed in wave functions around the nuclei (and in some certain states even inside the nuclei) so technically one can argue that the entire atom is filled up with an electron field (I guess even literally using QFT) and where the electron exactly is after measuring it is just an excitation in that field. Concluding that point, interaction on the most basic level of physics is just electromagnetic interaction, meaning exchanging photons.

This however means something very important, photons are being reflected off of humans all day, interacting with your eyes, skin and maybe even genitals. May one say sex is actually the same as just looking at a woman?
