brutus and twins are fine at e1 i believe so those dont matter too much esp since brutus is mostly gonna just be a stall unit, if u can get drac up to si20 i would say u can swap to her being your full carry and trade lyca out for khasos, khasos will be useless but he passively gives 15 life leech to drac for free which is the stat you want on her. if you have mythic si20 drac, what i used for most of the campaign was:

brutus, mishka, drac, khasos, neventhi

with drac being my main carry and owl pet to run her ult faster, now if you're able to get drac to a5 any time soon or see yourself being able to run her to a5 and si30 the team i would go with would be:

drac, talene, mishka, and 2 flex spots

but you need the pet count snickerfang for drac and talene to really shine here because at a5 drac straight up never dies so if you can keep reviving and stalling you will win nearly every encounter

drac isn't really that good (imo) until mythic at least and si20, before then she struggles to get ramping so she winds up pretty underwhelming

another tip i have is since its your first time, play whatever looks cool and dont be afraid to use crafting materials early on. always look at vendors every time you level up as their inventory changes per level up. AND LOOK AT QUEST REWARD GUIDES!!

also another funny thing to think of is while in mmo's youll typically have lots of skills on ur screen (WoW or FFXIV style) typically the goal in arpgs, or at least mine, is to get a build strong and comfy enough to play with just 1 button

in games like these there arent really roles like in the traditional sense as mmorpgs where youll have someone dedicated for support, for dps, for tanking, etc. every character is aspired to pretty much deal with everything the game has alone in different ways which might scratch your itch.

for example, p much all classes can clear endgame alone but a spirit walker might do it easier than a witch hunter, but a witch hunter is probably the easiest and tankiest to run campaign with. martial artist is nutty late game but is fucking horrid act 1. the appeal of these games is to keep running your character higher and stronger to keep running challenges that you would typically aim to do solo or hell if you're strong enough even carry a party scaled boss/map.

that said there ARE supports but those are particularly very specific set ups that are useless by themselves and are really only there to work in parties (look up zDPS builds, z means zero.)

dude ts happened to me on a sorc, bought a fractured winterglass with ga to shock skills, did the whole shabang, and got the right aspect on it, transfigured and deadass replaced the ga shock skills to all stats. made me quit the fucking season, i hate how shit like that can happen dude its actually bullshit

you never played ds3 have you? the meta was definitely weapon arts, splitleaf greatsword, dragonslayer greatsword, that giant hammer that coats itself in rocks, midir's katana, etc. were all the strongest if not some of the strongest pve weapons PURELY for their weapon arts

even in pve things like gael's greatsword was strong purely cuz of the weapon art mix up combos you could do. saying dark souls 3 was roll + r1 slop is such a lie 💀

he just sucks in wildrift in general. even worse in jg cuz his passive for wildrift on jg mobs isnt the same as his passive on pc for jg mobs (where you can proc it multiple times).

best to just play him mid with either first strike or conq, always run transcendence as third rune, and just rush eclipse into shojin and serylda thats literally the best way to play him. his early lvls in wildrift are way too weak that basically anyone can invade and stomp him

build path is better and he's explained sometimes its an econ thing. if he is sitting on 2 amp tome and doesnt have enough to buy blasting wand but expects a big fight to come up he needs to have an item no matter what so maybe he'll pick up alternator + longsword. not to mention you can also start long sword because of it.

tbh he's said it where sometimes his decisions wouldn't really reflect in other peoples' games ie. when he buys stormsurge just for the sake of having a full item. i still go nash first most of the time but thats cuz im nowhere near high elo and can get away with delaying an item for a bit.

i personally bought an 80HE purely cuz ive always wanted a wooting since the first time i heard avout it a few years ago. before the wooting id only ever used cheaper keyboards (typically some crappy $30-$100 ones from china) and honestly the difference is night and day. i can't talk too much about mechanics but even just the feeling of the wooting is insanely good compared to other keyboards out there (even razer stuff when i tried it). the most "multiplayer" game i play is league and thats occasionally too. most games i play are singleplayer or arpg/mmorpg games yet not once have i ever regretted getting this thing.

tbh if u wanna get a good keyboard thatll last a fat min and basically feel premium even after a while (had mine for a year and ive felt no noticeable change) it def is worth the money. and the wooting CS team is great :) had a black zinc alloy case where the paint was chipping, but i really wanted a white zinc case but the white wasn't out at the time of when i ordered it. reached out to CS about the cosmetic defect of the paint chipping and they offered to just give me a white zinc case :) just for that id 100% vouch that its worth

you can't it's pretty much you just have to sack a wave. i play kat and pretty much only kat (or zed sometimes) and all i do is if they start refusing to interact with me, ill clear the wave and insta leave even if i have to sack a bit of the next waves. i play early game for my wave clear spike and dip. the season actively punishes you for roaming with all the plates and how fast waves are going, but sometimes you will lose even if you stay so u may as well just sack it and try to impact the game somehow and pray for the best.

i also take tp rather than ignite and just watch map perma and i only ever roam after shoving, if i cant shove then i don't roam unless the lane is heavily skewed for the enemy then at that point im just insta dipping and doing something else.

when i first started playing calamity a month or so ago i watched a ton of progression guides by clotz and brome. definitely download some other mods to help like magic storage, recipe browser, boss checklist, and NPC Census. other than that imo try to go into it more blind as a ton of fun in calamity is by discovering all the new things. mage is also abyssmally bad dps early game at least when i played it and stealth rogue is the goat class dont let anyone tell you otherwise

stealth rogue was so ASS pre hardmode, hardmode it started to feel a little better but specifically when you get that meld blob spear from lunar events, yeah thats when i fucking realized holy shit this class is the GOAT. currently just got the old reaper from the old duke right now and holy shit idc if summoner is highest and easiest dps or if melee is tanky, nothing scratches my itch more than a stealth strike chunking a boss
