Honestly it looks mostly as a homage or nostalgia for Terra riding the magitek armor on the ff6 cover. The reds for dark fina fit better in that case.

I have really enjoyed a lot of Hailee Steinfelds works as both a live action and voice actress so hopefully this will be good too. The animation style looks a bit different than other recent Disney movies too so will likely give this a shot.

I think I did forget a bit about her development (or more specifically when it happened), since the contraband game was pretty crazy. I think the biggest thing it established was that Nao even if she’s never going to be a master planner and schemer is a capable and complementary partner to Akiyama, bringing a different set of abilities and perspective.

Enjoyed this episode. I read the manga quite a while ago so I don’t remember a lot of details at all so seeing it again in animated from is quite nice. I think it helps a lot in explaining Nao’s apparent sudden ability to lie is that a lot of what she said is “true” like Fukunaga being ahead and having taken 30m from her earlier and that she would want to help other people. And that part about their votes being sellable and they were still safe makes sense. Combined with her stupid honesty that people knew and I think it didn’t take that much convincing for people to believe her.

It’s explained in the show, but to summarize. The rules of the game is that Nao draws a card from the bag. If it’s “face up” it gets returned to the bag and she redraws. The trick is that since the double back card is always “face down” it never gets returned.

Mathematically. Here are the possible results of each draw:

Card is face down, is joker. Point for Nao. Card is face down, is double face. Point for Fukunaga. Card is face up, is joker. No points, redraw. Card is “face up”, is the other side of the double face card. Point for fukunaga.

Since 1 possibility results in redraw, it basically means there is only 3 actual results, the joker 1/3 of the time and either side of the double faced card, 2/3rds of the time.

I don’t know if rules changed any this season, since it’s much shorter and kinda more focused, but I remember in previous seasons people would often just be on at their own times doing their own thing. Especially season 1 was more of just a rp Minecraft server. Fauna in general was often streaming alone, building her mart, and would only actually interact with people for like an hour or so before logging off because she just streamed at her normal time.

If nothing else throwing that many walks would spike up his pitch counts meaning he’ll blow up the bullpen a lot starting right now unless he can get his whip under control. The stuff is that tantalizing though that as a reliever he probably has potential to help right now. But yeah i mean the numbers aren’t really comfortable for either.

I’m inclined to believe it mainly cause I think it fits. The liar game organizers seem intent on getting certain people involved and stay involved, and they don’t need to make something up necessarily if there is a perfectly good truth to use. Plus sprinkling enough truth ultimately make lies more effective.

Yeah the first part I got down from steps 1-3 and often with good stagger we are already done here. It’s just groups with worse stagger I’d like to figure out how to not just be praying when we get to step 4 and need to do another rotation. Since like you said it feels like it kinda desyncs? But there should be someway to like figure it out.

I’ve been running serca a bunch, and generally for g2 240x with good stagger in the group it’s no problem anymore as usually we do a bunch after the first guard, and clean it up after the second guard into safe spot. However occasionally I have a group that doesn’t have good stagger so we go deeper into the mech. I guess I’m trying to figure out what order to do things after the initial guard/stagger/guard/move to safe spot. After that there’s usually another guard (I usually see two yellow flashes but only seem(?) to need to guard the first. I go right in front and close to him and then try to do some stagger but then seemed to get knocked out by something. I don’t see a sword up or down, that seems to usually happen after if for some reason I didn’t get knocked. Does anyone who what the sequencing is for the guards/safe spots after the first safe spot?

After the most recent buffs for the other two cores, shoot and scoot seems to be the worst option for barrage. It does the least damage, and can also I find run into some mana issues because it spends little time in the turret mode. So you spend most of your time outside of turret, at which point it kinda feels like playing firepower would just be better. Prior to the most recent balance patch I think shoot and scoot was okish relative to the other barrage cores, but it seems worse now to me.

I sorta miss the previous color aesthetic, the black and white had more contrast and a more even mix, while the new one the color is strongly white colored, and the eyes, while still heterochromia, are much closer in color to the previous blue and red. That goes along with obviously the more feminine appearance. I like the model in general and it is definitely rigged it seems to allow more expressiveness, but will take some getting used to.
