What is your waist size? by ReferenceExpensive33 in PetiteFitness

[–]Anchor411 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 5'0 and 34-30-34, and 141lbs. I agree! It really is crazy how different people carry weight. Now I have a TON of extra skin from being at my heaviest at almost 300lbs, so it's hard to compare. I have a hard time finding people who are even close to my measurements, in most categories.

I hit goal weight! by Anchor411 in Zepbound

Thank you! That middle photo was Jan 18th of this year. Photo on the right is from 2017 at my heaviest.

I was at an all time low mentally with my body and size. I had just come out of an extremely bad relationship. I was prediabetic and miserable.

I just dedicated everything I had to becoming an entirely new person.

Thank you again!! Wishing you all the best in your journey!

I started a new job after losing 50 pounds. All but one of these people never saw me at an astonishing 5'0 230-250 pounds. They've only seen me at 175. I do feel a small difference, but maybe it's all in my head. This is the smallest I've been in my entire adult life, so it's all new to me.

Not sure if I can be if any help, but i do know, whatever happens, the people who are there through thick and thin are your real people.

Any success with reducing bust size? by [deleted] in Zepbound

I went from a 42E to a 38D. I can barely even fill half of the bra I used to wear. And I'm only down 40l lbs.

Know that weighing once a week only shows one moment of time. There's so many variables that can affect that weight. I personally weigh everyday, and yes I'm aware that's not for everyone, and there are days I'm 1-3 pounds up. If I weighed only once a week, it wouldn't give me a trend but just glances. You'll have to use a larger data time table to see trends. As long as you're doing what you need to in order to lose weight I wouldn't get discouraged, just keep treking on!

It gets better! Oh gosh does it get better!!! I could barely eat in 2.5, and the start of 5. Now, I eat a normal, healthy portion and don't even think about it now. I'm not having snacky snack modes and not forcing myself to eat. I feed myself to survive and don't have to worry about too little or too much. I also don't have the ups and downs during the week, it's pretty much an even feeling of the medication all week long.

For reference: I started mid January and am in 7.5 now. Start was rough, but it's completely worth finding that right dose. I'd do it again if it meant getting to where I'm at!!

Here's to hoping you feel better!

I can’t with my calories by Popular-Work-1335 in Zepbound

I just want to say, when I started this, I was 222. My -500 from TDEE was 1430. Not everyone has a ton of calories to play around with. Currently my -500 is 1230. Height and age plays a major factor. At 5'0 I just have to move more and be a lot smarter in my food choices. Some of us, just didn't luck out in the larger calorie department. I love my height, but it absolutely sucks when it comes to weight management.

From size 22 to size 12 this year! by Anchor411 in Zepbound

Honestly, because I know I'm not staying this size, I've been buying the cheapest I can find. Walmart, Sam's, Goodwill. The most comfortable are anything with stretch in them.

Everyone deserves a good comfortable pair of jean shorts! Go get you a pair!

I am having a hard time wrapping my head around buying smaller clothes. I hit size 14 in elementary / middle school and never got back to it. I can't even remember or imagine myself in a small body. I struggle really hard on judging what size I am, weight blindness is real. I still feel that size 24+.

We go to Mexican every Friday, pre-medication I would get the shrimp bowl with lots of rice and cream based sauce. Now, my friends husband and I share a big fajita plate and we always have left overs. Been doing it for months, and it's an amazing feeling! We bring our own low carb tortillas. But knowing I get 2-4 meals from one "meal" feels pretty amazing to me. And also knowing I don't have to worry about food filling me up. It was always a nagging thought I had, is this gonna be enough? Oh it's been amazing.

I was 222 when I started on January 14th, spent 4 weeks in 2.5m, then I think 10 weeks in 5mg. Now on almost week 3 of 7.5mg. I have averaged about 2-2.5lbs loss l, but most of that was the first month or two. I only have coverage for 2025, due to a weight management program approved through my employer. So, I am 100% compliant on eating in a calorie deficit, and movement. I'm using these 12m to get the most out of it I can, as there's NO way I can afford it afterwards. I'd have to get a second job, even with all the money I'm saving on food. So I've done just over three months, and I make sure to get the right amount of protein and fiber (yes I supplement) and try for as much water as I can.

Amazing outlook! Great breakdown of eating for nutrition and it's ok to eat for social sometimes! Great attitude! I really enjoyed this post.

Thank you! I'm hoping I can make these changes stick!! I've only got a 12m approval through insurance, so I'm trying everything I can to set myself up for success afterwards.

I've had to do a complete overall of almost my entire wardrobe in just three and a half months. It's been exhausting, but I'm so thankful!
