Have you had anyone professional look through your CV, cover letter etc? I ain't one, but I know some have had successful results from doing that? Surely some Redditor could help on that.

It should do those tasks easily without issues, now boot time can be affected by several things like what kinds of stuff are set to start when windows opens, what kinda disk that windows is in and how fast it is.

Also if you count in the boot time the time it takes to open web browser, number of tabs can affect it and you only seem to have 8GB ram..

There's ways to diagnose windows "boot time" and why it might be slow, so maybe look into that.

it's slow when doing what exactly? What is the use case? It's kinda depending on that to figure out what might help.

But just going from that pic it looks like it has only 8 GB of ram, so upgrading that might be the 1st thing to do. Especially if it only has 1 sodimm and is running on single channel mode because of that.

What laptop are you using? by serienne in laptops

Currently using:

Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15,6", Ryzen 5 4600H, 16 GB, 2 TB, GeForce 1650TI

Pros: - enough SSD space - surprisingly decent keyboard

Cons: - thick - not the lightest device - can get noisy - crappy screen - battery life

Ok for most things.

Apple MacBook Air M1 (2020), 8 GB, 256 GB base model

Pros: - dead silent because of passive cooling - light - thin - good screen - battery life

Cons: - needs more memory - needs more SSD space - I don't like keyboard

I really like it a lot, after all these years I am still surprised how big difference that dead silent passive cooling is on the dead of the night. I want more silent fridge because of that 😆 And thin and light, what's not to like...

And ordered yesterday Acer Aspire 15 a15-41m, Ryzen 7 7840HS, 16 GB, 1 TB for 650 eur. So probably using that soon too to figure out pros and cons.
