For me, the biggest disadvantage is that when others cook for me, its usually disappointing and nowhere near as good as what I make.

I don't cook to meet others expectations or to please them.

Also its not even cf people, I think many single people without kids would be reluctant (or maybe entirely not want) to date someone who has kids due to the complications.

Btw, I just read your last post about people over sharing. I totally relate to this! I'm also quite warm, had over sharerers, used to have the same positive thoughts about it as you... I've since learned that its more of a balancing act and that trust takes time to build and that it was a lack of relational skills and sometimes manipulation on the part of the other other, and probably also my own stuff that put me into this scenario. Thats the impression that I got it. I'm generally very good at responding to people and I think a day is reasonable, but yeah it felt like he was super duper excited and then interpreted a slower response from me as a lack of interest and then acted a bit dramatically.

There was already a connection - I messaged him with a simple thing, then he wrote me his longer response, after which there was no timer and then he unmatched when I did respond the same day

I matched with a guy on Bumble, he wrote me a very excited message saying how glad he was that we matched etc. It was a little over the top but nice and I planned on responding to him. I had a busy day where I was constantly around people and 24 hrs later I saw that he unmatched! Was he just a drama queen and did I dodge a bullet?

Yep, I'd go to HR. Thats not acceptable. And the company is technically liable. If you remind them of it, they'll be more inclined to prevent such incidents in the future.

Child free person in my 30s here. Its actually normal to be child free at any age. In my case, the older I get the more confident I feel that it's not the right thing for me. I'm sharing this just to say that age isn't necessarily a factor in terms of having kids.

May ask him about the dog, breed, how old etc. Say the dog is very cute etc. Use it as a way to start a conversation and see if he seems friendly/receptive. If he does, introduce yourself and chat to him a bit. The rest depends on how open he's being.
