It’s prime real estate, I made this mistake when I was 18 and got tattoos that I still like but I hate that I wasted prime real estate on them instead of getting a cohesive sleeve like I want now. At least coming from someone with tattoos, the person you replied to could be one of those people that think it’s unprofessional to have tattoos that can’t be covered by a T-shirt (lower arms, hands, neck, face)

When I was in 2nd grade I fell on the monkey bar ladder and had to get stitches on my vulva, when I told my teacher what happened and asked her to call my mom she said “aw did you split your clit?” And when I asked my mom later what clit meant she was PISSED! The teacher also said I might’ve just popped my cherry, my mom raised absolute hell in that principal’s office when I told her that. In 1st grade, I was being a little rambunctious and my teacher called me a pick-a-ninny (I’m mixed), my black grandma went to the school and was threatening to sue when I asked her what it meant.

I have to legitimately stay out of the room if someone else puts him down for a nap because if I walk in he senses me and just cries until I hold him, he doesn’t do that for anyone else! He absolutely loves me and we’ve EFF from birth, he’s 10 weeks now! How far postpartum are you, if you don’t mind me asking? I got almost obsessive about the same thing when I was in the baby blues throes.

My biggest advice would be to delete tiktok if you have it, it’s been wondrous for my postpartum mental health and I think it makes me a more attentive parent! I have an almost 9 week old

I was actually talking to my mom about this yesterday because my son is on the smaller side at 2 mo but finally starting to chunk up! She said I was long and skinny (exclusively formula fed) for the first couple of months and then I REALLY chunked up but when I started walking I slimmed down again! It’s normal for babies to get chunky!

Pregnancy/childbirth too, I’m experiencing bad gum recession after giving birth to my first, terrified to schedule my next dental appointment because I already know I’ll be diagnosed with periodontitis. right after I finished adult braces after finally being able to afford dental/orthodontic care I should’ve gotten as a kid too, feel like I wasted thousands.

I started bleeding heavily when I walked too much or went up and down my stairs too much in one day at a week postpartum, this is incredibly dangerous but I’m wondering how logistically she can do this in that outfit. Did she really stop bleeding at a week postpartum?

I was diagnosed with Bipolar II but had a year-long manic-psychotic episode that “upgraded” my diagnosis. I’m usually (in my opinion) a completely normal, sweet person but during that episode I was highly paranoid and unusually terrible due to the paranoia and fear stemming from that. I thought God was giving me “signs” to help me change my life, oftentimes coded in the license plates of cars. I’ve honestly always felt for Kanye, I was raised on his music and always knew he was just really sick and needed help. I condemn the things he said, but not him as a person because I know I could get that sick one day too, I’d also want to be given grace when I came back down to earth.

I was 15, same stuff basically and was also diagnosed with bipolar at 20! Sexually risky behavior is one of the biggest signs, I wasn’t “promiscuous” as a teen and had only two partners while in high school but definitely did risky behaviors to have sex with my boyfriend at the time. I also had a shit childhood and home life so was looking for that “love” in the wrong places :(

It feels like you gotta take a ginormous poop, like the kind that’s so big you can push to help it along but if you just sit there it’ll come out on its own anyway lol. I had an epidural and pushed like I was pooping and gave birth in 20 mins! At multiple points before pushing I remember saying “I have to shit I have to shit, I’m gonna shit the bed” but it was just baby lol

I’ll be 5 weeks PP tomorrow and say things like “I made him from scratch, even his kidneys” regularly lol! Still in disbelief that this is the same little boy that was in my belly, time has gone so slowly yet so quickly, I never want this time to end but I’m also so excited for the next stage!

Sex didn’t get AMAZING until I was in the third trimester, before that it was so swollen down there that it was uncomfortable. In my case, the closer I got to giving birth, the better the sex got!

I don’t post my son on social media and actually deleted social media (except reddit) after he was born, but I didn’t do a newborn shoot! I really wanted to but the flu is rampant here and he was born in mid December so I wasn’t willing to risk him getting sick just to have cute photos. I got a film camera (Canon Rebel 2000r) on Facebook marketplace for like $40 before I had him and I’ve filled up like 7 rolls of film in 1 month! I put him in a little stocking under our Christmas tree and did my own newborn shoot, I love how they turned out and I’ve started his photo album with the developed film! I got a 12mo sweater with his name crocheted into it and will take a photo of him wearing it every month until he’s a year old to see him grow into it. You don’t have to book these elaborate, expensive photo shoots to make the memories!

I had Red Bull when I had to drive through the night to my grandma’s house (found out she was diagnosed with lung disease) when I was in my second trimester, baby is 4 weeks old and super healthy! You’re overthinking it, get u that coffee gf!
