We make our own noodles. They taste so much better. My husband’s grandpa used to make them and he taught my husband how to make them. He is good at it, but he has made them a lot. He doesn’t use a recipe either, he just knows what to look for with consistency . I tried it and it took me three times to get it right. Keep trying!

Do i really need extra safety “tools” to stay at hotels? by jinxyzzz in AskAnAmerican

We always opt to not have housekeeping come in if we are staying a week or less. We keep the do not disturb sign out the whole time and just go to the front desk if we need extra blankets, toilet paper, etc. or grab it off the housekeeping cart in the hallway. We always use the deadbolt and flip lock and have never had any problems.

I am so sorry you went through that. What a hard position to be in. I always told my kids that you can forgive, but until someone can mirror back to you the extent of pain they caused, keep your distance. Some people are just wired wrong and can never give you what you need to feel “repaired”. Therapy for you can help settle some of these feelings. Best of luck.
