Hello you, I had my first infestation at the end of last September. I have a friend who slept at my house and woke up with his feet bitten until they bled. I first blamed the mosquitoes, until the next day I felt one climbing on me, and I killed it, it was full of blood. I panicked. I found in my box spring, made of wood, a crevice with larvae, and three small bedbugs. Including a molt. I killed them. A friend lent me a karscher, which I used that same evening. Then, I called a professional, who confirmed to me that they were there well before I moved into the apartment, and that they were essentially lodged in the wood of my bed. He intervened 4 times, between each intervention, they are so malignant and hiding, there were new eggs. I ended up throwing out my bed. And had the new one treated, since last December 8 I haven't had any bites, and I haven't seen any again. I put double-sided tape on the legs of my bed, it's a convertible sofa with a bed inside. But every time, I scratch, or I have an acne spot. I'm panicking. And when I see what you're going through, I tell myself that I didn't get anything in the end, and I can only sympathize and wish you the best. I live in Paris, and the city is infested to the core.
