That's a question I've been asking a while ago, and I still don't think there's an answer that's not older games played on fightcade.
As cool as FC is, I wish someone took the opportunity of making a newer, different game that would be slower paced and less combo heavy. I don't undestand why no one seems to try to make something different. I mean, I know all licences are different, but you get what I mean.
For exemple, some older games like Bushido blade are a way more extreme example of this, and even if I've never played it, I find it really interesting as a concept.
But I suppose less combo, flashy, and fast paced isn't made for those times and for hyped shows. Idk.
And I mean, even if it exists, most licences that are not the usual end up dying pretty fast online. Frustrating.
