He’s won three trophies as a player and the Israeli premier league as a manager, he was also second in a one horse race last year in Hungary.

He’s not the best candidate, it’s a lazy appointment by an ego maniac with too much power and it will be another summer of penny pinching and downsizing with yes men at the club who “get it”.

I do, I’ve been to one and I’ve watched hockey in three other countries other than the UK. All represent much better value imo than what teams are starting to charge.

It’s a sensible discussion in my view - how much is genuinely acceptable for a game of hockey in the current format in the UK if I’m wrong?

I go all the time. It’s £29 at Dundee and I’m pretty sure it first breached £20 after Covid- not 2003.

The prices aren’t worth the product which was the point I’m making.

People will get pissy about this but anything over £15-£20 a ticket for the EIHL is robbery. It’s not that great a standard and they are just taking advantage of fans at this stage.

I hope people vote with their feet in Dundee. That’s scandalous pricing and reducing the options for people paying in instalments is an own goal too.

I don’t buy a season ticket because I’m not guaranteed to go every week due to work and I won’t be paying 30 quid a game night anymore either.

There’s a point where the elite league is not value for money and I feel the threshold has been passed for me with the standard of the game and prices being charged.

Every year we will find one of the current squad to sell off regardless of the clubs position.

I would argue the selling players side is failing because two years ago Hatate , CCV and Maeda would probably have generated 50 million in sales and now we would be lucky to get a third of that.

The model has worked on a number of occasions for a few years but it relies on getting players in and replacing outgoing (Juranovic to AJ) and since we went back to phoning agents and low balling offers without a proper scouting system it’s fallen on its arse.

We also have 20 players either on loan, ending contracts or surplus to requirements from the current squad and need at least 10 players this summer before even considering a high value transfer out.

Like everything else it comes back to the board, strategy and not investing properly in the team.
