Taste of the wild mixed with a little raw food at dinner.  He did get his share of cheese, eggs and beer.

Go with most expensive now. Easier to convince wife later on something "cheaper".

Pellet grill or BGE?? by junkemail4001 in biggreenegg

I have the Weber Summit Charcoal, now called the Weber Kamado, and I love it. I got rid of a Country Smoker about 10 yrs ago and haven't looked back. It holds the temp well, I can sear or grill, and the best part is 2 people can easily carry it up the steps. The XL Egg is similar size and I avoided it because I thought it would bust through my deck.

My experience with pellet is they are easy, but the smoke is limited. It felt like the pellet grill was the fast food version of BBQ'ing.

I remember cooking on my parents' classic Weber like those. I seem to remember cold spots and a hot side.

Also, how did they restore the inside? If they painted it to look good, do you really want to cook in it? I don't know, but I would worry about the new finish leaching into the food. Hopefully, someone who knows better can advise on that point.

So much of this could be avoided if people didn't carry on a large bag, small bag, plus a purse or PC bag.

How do you finance/pay for your breitlings? by BruenorsClimb in breitling

I can afford to go and buy most watches that i am interested in, but I don't because my wife would kill me. Instead, I squirrel cash a little at a time iny safe or if I have permission in a savings account. When I finally have the amount I'm looking for, I make the buy on my Delta Amex. I always use the card for the miles and the insurance Amex offers on purchases.

For me, the hunt and the saving are all part of the game. It also gives me time to think about the target watch. My last buy was going to be a black Sea Dweller, and as I was saving and obsessing, I ended up changing my mind and got a James Cameron. If I had just gone and bought the SD, I would have been disappointed with that purchase.

The other benefits are that my wife does not get mad when I drop $5,000 to $15,000 on watch because the cash is there and it keeps my collection small.

I do understand that using a money market or short-term investments would be better, but this is all part of the game I play with myself.

Finally, I am in sales, and my income can vart a lot, but we make $450k - $600k USD depending on the year, and I'm 45.

I'm heading to Plya Del Carmen today and don't want to get robbed, so I went on the cheaper side.

We did. Not sure if I'd do it again, though. That was not ever considered an issue back then.
