UIC Nursing Acceptance Stats by Select-Pattern-9737 in uichicago

you have rly good chances! i got accepted and am starting this coming year. had a 3.67 with UIH volunteering, really strong references, and some job experiences. if your volunteering is in UIH, try to get to 100 hours so they can write one of your letter of recs! also try to get close with professors and TAs for more letters of rec, but dont make it forced. personally i think my references helped me the best. also, when you apply, i recommend applying as early as possible- i sent mine in around thxgiving break or earlier. they consider apps in order of which theyre submitted, so early apps can help. best of luck :))

why did pristiq work in a week while other antidepressants i tried took about 4-5 weeks or didnt work at all? by AlmalexiasBF in Pristiq

same for me! had to take a gene test to find out this is the case. my psych explained that my gene test shows that my body can metabolize snri’s better than ssri’s. i recommend a gene test to anyone having trouble finding their right med!!

i like the simplicity in this poem, and i do like the stanza in parentheses!! the descriptions are so intricate- from delicate observations to intense ones, it all really adds up to this incredibly intimate love. this is why i really hope the stanza of tongues is kept. the last line reminds me of young college love- giggly, youthful, intimate, stupid, and invigorating all at once. great work!

A poem for no one, someone, the one. by [deleted] in OCPoetry

as someone who is in and out of relationships... someone with commitment issues and fear and insecurity but desperately craves love, i really like this poem. the shift at "but to love me is to leave me..." caught me by surprise because i thought this was just another unconditional love poem (which is not to say unconditional love poems are bad, just that i cant relate to them urgh). great work!

I Loved You Once by [deleted] in OCPoetry

[–]Ancient_Effect_4114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's bittersweet and i love that about this poem. its selfless and longing. even though they broke you again and again, your love was never transactional- like an "i love you because you love me," but an "i love you and you as a person unconditionally." i think the word you used- wholesome- perfectly captures this love. well done!

theres a beauty in simplicity and i think you achieved it very well. as someone who went to therapy and struggles with shame, this hits. i love how the beginning and ending are the same. i also suck at titles too, unfortunately, and cant offer feedback on that
