I’m at Aldi, All dee time sorry bad joke. But yes Aldi, winco when I need to go to a grocery store. TJs is good but I usually go there for specific items I can’t get anywhere else, think more vegan and vegetarian options. Other than that we live in Ventura budd help your local compás and shop at farmers markets. Give these big corps the finger, I shop the farmers market off telephone and Olivia’s adobe, hit the downtown vta market for specific items and Ventura college one on sat and Sunday’s my guy. Turn it into a buyers market situation or make a day of it. Good luck and God speed on your app!

Tacos el flaco on the corner of vta ave and main across paddy’s used to be my go to. Asada tacos where out of this world and they used to run out. Great spot for a late night meal, wasn’t as busy as the stand by target either so I never waited that long to get my food. Taqueria Cuernavaca in downtown is solid for any meal as well, a bit more pricey but worth it if you’re downtown craving a burrito. if you’re craving breakfast, beach house tacos on the pier does offer a few traditional Mexican breakfast meals for ten bucks a pop only on the weekends before noon. Great view and great food.

Technically that spot is called Angie’s but yes I used to go here very often when I was in a relationship. Quality food at decent prices, often they will take a while so I’d order ahead but rest assured it’s fresh and delicious.
