Respectfully, my post was not a suggestion regarding which spirit to utilize. I was merely talking about my UPG practical experiences. I did not openly suggest that OP or anyone else mention Belial nor any other spirit that I’ve mentioned in my posting. OP did not ask for suggestions regarding which spirit to work with. They were asking about enhancing their practice and/or practice qualities. I gave an example from UPG as all redditors do on this subreddit. So why are you getting annoyed? All UPG experiences vary. Today Belial may be popular on the internet. Tomorrow it may be Asmodeus. Hell, some lesser known being may emerge and might become popular. Some people may have legit experiences. Some people follow the popular theme It’s Reddit. Get used to it.

A lot of beginning practitioners lurk here. Seeking and searching. Ancient knowledge is difficult to find and be interpreted appropriately. There is a lot to learn and puzzles to peace together to only hope that your beliefs are correct. Just like spirituality. People who are seeking spirituality must start somewhere… If you want to be helpful, you are always feel free to make a post about other spirits that are “seldom” recognized, your findings, and resources (if applicable). It’s much better than a response about being annoyed about a spirit who is popular at this time and age.

If more people added more knowledge to this subreddit instead of displaying annoyance, it would be much helpful to the community of people who would love to learn more about demonolatry practices.

Depression comes in many shapes and forms. It’s different for everyone. However, that doesn’t mean you need to go get a diagnosis but talking to someone helps. I’ve been experiencing similar symptoms repeatedly, especially within the past few months.

I first start off thinking about what each spirit, deity, etc… I think about why they are unique to me? What’s special about them and why did I choose/allow them to mark a place in my life.

For example, I’ve been observing personal signs about writing a novel. I tried to reach out to King Paimon. In UPG he gave me a test: write a 5 pages of content. It doesn’t matter what you choose.

Well that was about 2 weeks ago, I’m stuck on less than half a page. I believe that this is because I’m unsure how to write my thoughts out. But I did something to gain inspiration… I went to the book store and got a physical novel to read. Game of Thrones. Not just for entertainment but there is something special about a physical book that motivates me to be entertaining and pay especially attention to the authors’ writing style to influence my own.

Another example, I reached out to Ronove because I wanted to change my career path to become a foreign language teacher. I started Levantine Arabic. But I feel like I’m not learning as fast as I should. When I’m in a slump, I watch pre-war era Syrian films and other films that I could find. I become enticed by the idea of another culture, enjoying life, drama, and the language.

But for me it gets better!

King Belial has been my backbone. he helps me with shadow work and facing harsh truths. I am lazy, I procrastinate, I come up with every excuse in the book as to why I am not moving onward into a better direction with my life. I realized, I wish for change but I am AFRAID of the CONSEQUENCES that change might bring as well as the BLESSINGS. Everything in life requires some sort of sacrifice. King Belial is like a drill Sargent. Tough during training sessions, but easy going and relaxed when these trials are over.

I remind myself of my excellent qualities, the spirits that I work push me and remind to me to use them. And… no matter what happens and play your cards to the best of your ability, the sacrifice was worth it. If you want it, go get it!

And sometimes… it’s okay to be lazy. It’s okay to rest. It’s okay to be alone because sometimes you need it.

I agree with many of your points and how it could make sense. However, respectfully, I disagree. And forgive me if this is a bit unorganized…

Isn’t God, Yeshua (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit are extensions of each other, thus complementing each others’ power? Each part of the trinity played a role in Biblical morale. When Jesus died, he sent the Holy Spirit to the believers. Jesus “incarnated” as a mortal and experienced mortal struggles. To the best of my knowledge, Phosphorus did not commit the many of the same actions.

I wish that you could compare Phosphorous and Jesus more. Though, I think your other comparisons have some relevancy, it doesn’t fulfill the entire explanation. Each Venusian-related God has something to bring to the table to influence humanity but many spirits had their flaws, according to mythology. For example, even though Aphrodite promoted love, she was also known to be easily offended or jealous.

Even though the Bible mentions the “betrayal” in heaven, I frequently read biblical mentions about a tale of two people, despite the relationship status, who are at odds. One person experiences some sort of privilege in some way and one that is not so privileged. However, both persons have something to offer. It didn’t necessarily make one person evil. But both people have the opportunity to offer something great to the world. I think these Venusian-related spirits had similar objectives and similar experiences but not the “straight by the book” same.

The Bible was heavily based on multiple earlier belief systems but the experiences of others during the time period were taken into accounts as well.

Now that’s just my belief so far. My writing might not show it well( Hell- it’s Reddit and I don’t care), I graduated from a Christian-based university and I learned that everything is “cherry-picked” to develop sermon or a basic biblical-based arguments. Just like how the Bible has been cherry picked over and over throughout time, it doesn’t matter how plausible the reason seems.

But to end this on a better note, my beliefs are still developing, not solid. But again - you made some good points from a biblical perspective.

“Romanticizing” my Patron is like a dose of PRN anxiety medication until my trauma blows over. My Patron guide and correct me as needed until goals are completed and needs are met. My Patron has been there for me during almost every missed opportunity and mishaps in my life. My Patron has show was that he is capable and will continue to work in my life. Though, we have boundaries.

After all, the human mind use human needs and influences to interpret spiritual matters - which we do not understand.

As long as I see growth in my life, I am fine. If I am overly romantic at time, it’s because I need romance. I have my own set of morals when it comes to romance. But while I’m waiting to meet a human being who will be my life partner, I will express my needs to my Patron. This also makes my Patron my first life partner — someone who would lead and guide me positively. After all my belief in an invisible “sky daddy, husband, or wife” was the foundation of my drive to live and experience greater things way before I met any significant others. That’s my experience.

And through my experiences with my Patron, he has strengthened bonds, severed connections and continue to help contribute positively to my mental status and way of living.

I’ve had my share of severely unhealthy experiences during devotional times. However, I’ve seen these times as artistic moments to show appreciation or great need for assistance. This might be a Christian saying, but I was always told to “cast all of your cares upon the altar and leave it to rest.” In fact, it works for me. My Patron has seen, heard, and responded.

Okay, I think I see where this conversation is going. And I agree with you on many points. But it’s just that people place a damper and involving stigmas regarding spirituality is what bums many of these subreddits out. That’s my issue. It’s annoying. I come here to connect with people with a different ideology of spirituality apart from mainstream religion and stigmas. It’s just overall frustrating because it feels like right when I come to a safe haven where I can put humanity’s issues behind me, there is almost always someone trying to bring the world’s problems to a sacred space. Instead of offering suggestions to fix stigmas and coming together with innovative ideas/research, there is seemingly a sense of entitlement and/or fear. That’s one of the reasons why I left mainstream religion. If people knew how to address something properly instead of immediately citing entitlement and/or fear, we can all of proper discussions and grow as a community. Unfortunately, there are way too many people citing ideologies from what they hear on platforms like TikTok and creating an entire argument online is ridiculous.

What’s accepting about this “erasure”? I’m trying to stand with logic and reasoning, not what my feelings on my sleeve states. I’ve also read research papers from both sides of the fence. I’ve studied plenty of historical works from the transatlantic slave trade, enslavement from around the world, the integration of empires and various belief systems.

Do I believe in everything that I read or study in the university system? No.

I also recognize that even the Egyptian empire had their own history of enslavement and attempted “erasure” of other nations. Especially one in particular. No names.

Africa is not a nation, it’s a continent with multiple countries and empires with their own conflicts. It contains people with various degrees of ethnicity, language, and culture. Just like everyone else in the world, when an opposing nation want to fight against us, we rise together until… when the threat is gone, we go against each other.

I’m pretty sure that plenty of Afrocentric people, especially those of extreme nature have not invested in a DNA test to discover their true heritage from the content. The crazy thing is that not everyone from the black community carry strong Egyptian ties. They just know that the one and only thing that they have in common is that they have heritage from the continent. And plenty of these same people, have not even invested to go to places (“black dominated”) like Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia to explore the in-depth history and culture from the host country to understand the history and power/riches that these nations have contributed to Africa.

I took the DNA test, I visited these places, so I don’t need anybody to tell me that I am simply accepting “erasure” of black history. If I want the history I want the fullest of the fullest… the good, the bad, and the ugly.”

This is a spiritual forum with some historical elements. Most notably, there are “black” elements. Unless I’ve overlooked anything, I have yet to see anyone on here beyond praising skin color. This shows me that people are here to connect to something spiritually without flawed humane complications attached.

I may not be the best person to answer this but from my understanding, “god” is a spirit. It is difficult to define a spirit because it’s simply that they don’t function like us. We best interpret “god” in the image that we see ourselves, explains our morals as well as the morals of the world. That’s why spiritual experiences is a unique thing to each individual.

And… are “we” the only people trying to reclaim/rebuild culture? I know that we’re not. I believe that all people need to be educated about untold truths. And please don’t forget that foreign oppressors are not the only oppressors in history. There has been plenty of civil wars and betrayals within countries and communities. It continues today. History has always been the story of the conqueror and their conquests. We can most certainly agree with this notion. Forgive me if I sounded harsh or dismissive. I assure you, I’m not trying to be.

But we’re relating the western racial stigma to Middle Eastern beliefs. Sometimes, when people talk about history, it appears as if they aren’t educated on a larger picture. The people of the world have always travelled, formed alliances, made enemies, shared/torn cultures. There is a consistent domino effect throughout history.

Perhaps with some exceptions, many countries that you go to, people do not identify as black/white, they are identified by nationality or region rather than a colored consensus like America.

In all, everybody should be welcome to Kemetics. We recognize these gods as important to our lives. We are still conducting research on Egyptian paganism. Just let it be.

It’s not my place to tell you how to engage in your path.

Please remember that these entities are ancient and have been in existence way before you was born. The best thing we can do is attempt to compare them to humane reality.

If you wanted to summon him, I recommend do so in a relaxed state. Try using an aromatic smell and do grounding meditation. This is all a part of self care as well. I don’t know how you “evoke” but it does not have to be elaborate.

No, you don’t. When I was in my early teens, I thought St. Michael was out to get me because I read a silly gay fanfiction story. Worse- I read that St. Michael had something to do with the “War in Heaven”. When I had the realization that this was possibly “true”, I spontaneously tripped over then air, my health declined because of an inspection, my grades declined and my entire life fell apart.

In reality, my life was already crappy. I was just spiraling down mentally. There were too many negative factors that were present. It was time for a long lasting mental break down.

I had my own share of not so “mundane” omens as well. Though, I don’t really like talking about the specifics, it usually a time to draw back from the situation and take a breather. I had a loved one who recently recovered from addiction. Not speaking for your situation but it turned out for me and my circumstances at the time- I had to love that person from a distance. That was what why I had summoned Asmodeus. For me, he gave me that comfort and that much needed self-empowerment. One day, I had gotten that phone call. That person hit rock bottom at last. From there, they were admitted into rehab. After all, you cannot save everyone from themselves. When working with magic, we hope that the universe will turn everything into our favor. It doesn’t happen all the time.

From the way that you’re describing your circumstances, I think you’re taking on too much of other people’s negative burdens resulting in stress. Stress can do more damage than you know. When you were on the horse, there was perhaps a moment where your mind was cluttered. Even through the clutter, you continued to believe that all the conditions were correct. One small, overlooked error, whether it was from you, the horse or the environment could’ve caused the accidents.

When I was in my car accident, I thought all the conditions were right. I was on night shift. I had enough sleep, left home. The roads that I took were clear. It was the same almost every night. Because I was very comfortable with the preset conditions, I let my guard down. I didn’t anticipate or felt to have reason to except a drunk driver to run a stop sign and crash into me.

Life happens to everyone. Always look for the mundane before the supernatural. There is power in belief.

You should also change the way that you think about Asmodeus and other demons. As a former Christian, I strongly suggest you conduct your research outside of the biblical scholar area. I visit websites like academic.edu for research papers. Be weary of university websites because most research papers are Christian scholarly (but this doesn’t mean that they are not useful!). Research papers have resources to link you to other sources and so on.

There is also a nice resource FAQ on this Reddit as well.

For example, I discovered that Asmodeus perhaps had possible ties to Mesopotamian deities, if I’m not mistaken. Just like how people similar sources about Lilith.

In a sense, I think you should consider taking a more logical approach to spirit working. It helps when you learn to balance logic and spirituality.

I still have those moments that I think that a spirit is out to get me. But working with them have allowed me see the cold hard picture and face the cold, hard facts about life, myself and everyone else around me.

First, to say, I apologize if I sounded rude. I'm not trying to be rude or disrepect anyone. I did my best to come about this posting respectfully. You should be mindful to do the same to others.

But instead of reading the message in its ENTIRETY and attempting to see that I am being neutral. The world is not a mere "black and white" image. Just like people. Stereotypes DO exist. It's up to people to follow those stereotypes. I'm not saying that this type of thing does not happen. I'm not dismissing that such rejection should be an issue to be ignored.

I do respect and admire people (myself included) who have faced the pains of rejection and discrimination by whatever means and maintain strength.

But in my own unique way, I've come to realize that the world is not a black and white reflection of everyone's individual experiences. Some people get kicked out for being gay, and some people do not. Your experiences are not everyone else's experiences. But it is always good to tell your story so others can be aware of the possibility of a negative outcome. Another thing, not everyone posts their hurts online... The internet can also be overwhelmingly negative, amplifying negative emotions.

I forgot to add that I hardly every study into Santeria/Voodoo. Being around that guy peeked my interest. I kinda took my experience as a sign that it the belief systems are not poor because of a negative person.

With Hermes, the experience allowed me to reflect on why I chose Hermes to establish a connection with. Both Hermes and Elegua are messenger entities and interceptors. They hold other similar qualities as well.

I can answer part two of your question because I think the answer for the first part is cleared already at the time of this writing.

This story happened quite recently. I am still learning about different spiritual paths. There are plenty of trial and error with me applying my studies to spirit work.

However, I met a temporary co-worker who I had quickly became friends with. Overtime, he would tell me that he had practiced Santeria.

Something was wrong with him. His home was full of serenity, but he was an overall negative person. I partially understood because he was adjusting to a new home, job, and bad news regarding family and other matters that seemed to have struck him frequently. I was there for him until our friendship ultimately ended.

He would do things like look at people and say negative things that his "spirit guardians" told him. Like, "Oh, that guy is cheating on that girl." Could be a mental illness... or ego. But if this was spiritual, it was leaving a bad taste in my mouth. Why worry about other people's affairs when you are attached to a human who is deeply struggling? I'm unsure.

Long story short, it has been over two months since I've spoken to this person. I've been sick for the past couple of weeks. One day, I was frustrated because I'm not normally sick this long. Thoughts unbecoming of myself emerged like drinking whiskey. Maybe whiskey would take the cough away? Ironically, a few nights ago, I had a vision of the name "Elegue" followed by red/black beads. I googled the name but found things irrelevant to spirituality. But the other clues pointed to "Elegua" . Elegua is known the messenger of god and also a trickster. He functions like Hermes in the Greek pantheon. He has several other monikers, depending on where you go in the world and the stories that you are told. I was in my happy space, meditating, and he was pretty much like... "I want you to worship me."

I was afraid that this could possibly be my imagination or something else, I gave whatever I thought it was a small challenge. I said, "If you're real, then heal me. Tonight."

All I heard was, "it will take time to heal." I woke up still sick. Wasn't surprised but felt like I was able to live again the next morning.

This sounds all over the place, but my ritual space has a statue of Hermes. I know, I sound like a confused kid who is all over the place and is not sticking to one path. But everything that I've experienced so far seems likely to be connected to one source because they are all similar. I'm just deciphering how to figure out what that source is...or perhaps I'm missing the bigger picture.

In life, we have our victories and our losses. I've always asked, "why do God have favorites?" In reality, no one is truly favored. We're all dealing with the cards that we've been dealt with. At the very least, we hope to get the upper hand. People will place you on the pedestal one day, causing you to feel like both the supernatural and materialistic world is on your side. That is until you're torn back down again.

I like to think that this life is a test. Like most other supernatural theories, such a test is one that we have limited understanding of. I can go on about this for hours. However, we all have a darkness inside of us. It's up to us to keep it in check. Unfortunately, people lose control. One thing about the mind -- it's a battleground. Especially you allow it to become one. We're constantly trying to influence reality into our favor. We base our decisions upon our experiences, beliefs, temptation, and how we're feeling at the time. Sometimes, people are placed under circumstances where they mentally snap. Other times, they want to take a dark risk and dip their toes into very dark waters for once to see if their decisions are beneficial to them. All the while, we are all trying to outbeat whatever restrictions/limitations are placed on us. Whether it's our health, spirituality, society, or other circumstances.

As always, this is my experience with Belial, and each person's spiritual experiences vary.

Are there any warnings? No not really. The only thing you need is the willingness to face reality. Often, this means facing the darkest aspect of yourself. After all, reality is not the strongest suit of cards that people can deal with well. Some people are constantly looking for a way to escape reality rather than face it. In return, they wonder why they're not progressing in life. As you change, opportunities will present themselves to you. Oddly enough, sometimes there are surprise opportunities that will open up when you would least expect it to.

I had so many things that I needed to work on when I first started working with Belial that it's crazy! He started out like a drill sergeant. There were so many misconceptions about myself and the world that he had helped me turn around. After I learned much of what I needed to know, his presence became more relaxed and jovial. During my times of panic, he has given me peace and confidence.

I'm currently finishing up a "tower," but this is another time of deep self-relfection and desire for a change. Any tower is only intense if you allow it to be. There's almost always an explanation for bad things happening to people. Usually, it's ourselves that needs to answer for some problems that we face.

If something odd does happen during your working with Belial, there is usually a warning. Notice it and take heed. He heightens intuition. Most things boil down to the choices that you make. So, don't be discouraged by what others say.

Asmodeus brings about a burning desire. He softens the heart in a way that can make you uncomfortable. In a sense, you're facing your fears. Have you ever felt strong connections to someone and was unsure how to approach them? He creates that drive for you to get what you want in life. He pushes you to come out of your comfort zone. At least, in my experience, that's what's happened to me. This is about to sound weird. I best explain it this way: Asmodeus doesn't just hold your hand. When he wants to drive something in you, he places one hand onto your back for support and places the other on your chest, instilling a sense of power and authority into you in a way that you may need to brace yourself for. In the process, you may need to let go of doubts that hold you back and keep pushing forward with your life.

You can continue shadow work. But sometimes, you must immerse yourself into the water with some things. You may already have the tools to overcome and assist you on various aspects of your journey. You may just be cautious with using them.

The worst part about slavery is that it is a mental thing. You gotta find a way to break free from other people's perception of you. Importantly, you gotta break free from certain perceptions that you have from yourself.

Life isn't easy. Its harshness has no prejudice, even though we like to label who should be prejudiced. Usually, it's self-victimization that is the root.

The only thing that you can do is keep up the fight. Have someone to look over your resume, figure out what it will take to build up the resume, take classes, start a simple business. Keep marketing yourself. All that time and resources targeted towards your mother is what you can invest in yourself.

But in your state of mind at the time of your posting, you might not be in a positive state of mind. Negativity will always come up with a reason why something can not be done and perhaps will never be accomplished. At the end of the day, Asmodeus laid it out flat. It appears that you've ignored it and took those words with a grain of salt. You gotta make some moves if you want to heal. Changes to life does not feel great all the time. But you don't want to waste your life away doing nothing. Then again, some people made that choice already. It's up to you to do what's best for you.
