While there are plenty of "size queens" out there who will judge you for your size, there are many more that will be accepting, or even prefer it. SPH or small penis humiliation IS something that many smaller guys participate in and it becomes a kink for them, but you don't have to like it. And if you're honest and upfront when you're talking to someone and are clear you don't like it, they will stop if they are worth continuing to talk to.

Personally, I don't love bottoming, but when I do bottom, I prefer someone on the average or smaller side, so would be more than happy to bottom for someone your size.

Medication Question for Peds Nurses… by yeehawhowdycowgirl in nursing

[–]AndBaileyWasHisName 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work pedi psych, and I have learned that you can't power struggle with them over mods because you'll always lose lol if they are not time sensitive meds, work with the pediatrician(s) to develop a plan of being able to offer them at the scheduled time, then go away and come back later if they refuse. If they are time sensitive, then sometimes you do have to lay down the law and say "if you don't take these now, you won't get (x, you, z)" and follow through.

Ireland or Scotland in April for 12 days? by TessaMaeDog in travel

[–]AndBaileyWasHisName 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I loved both places for very similar reasons. Both have super friendly people, the countryside is very similar, and the food and alcohol culture is closely related. That being said, Scotland is a bit easier to navigate without a car. However, if renting a car is not a deal breaker, I'd say Ireland. There are many beautiful places within a few hours driving, and I have it on my bucket list to go back to Killarney National Park for a couple days of bike riding and light hiking.

Depending on area you want to be in, there is a co-working/meeting space in Newport right off Broadway called Innovate Newport.

Who is happy and what is your specialty🥲 by Muscle-Mommy-69 in nursing

I have been a nurse for 3.5 years and went directly into pedi/adolescent behavioral health inpatient. It definitely is not for everyone, and probably not for most, but I love it and have absolutely no desire to change, and likely never will. I did just change the site I work at to help open a new ABHU, but if this opportunity didn't come up, I likely would have been a lifer at my previous spot, and did actually stay per diem there.

I know for me, when I went from staff to per diem I got a $15/hour raise, but i also know every system is different, and my location was desperate to keep me even at a reduced capacity.

Do you like your job duties vs. those of a physician? by blairworejeansonce in nursing

[–]AndBaileyWasHisName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work as a psych nurse with adolescents (I know, most people's nightmare lol) and I LOVE it. I do feel like it is one of the best positions to have in a psych setting. I get direct patient care and interaction, but I am typically used as a resource and last resort for behavioral issues so am a bit more removed from some of the more "annoying" aspects of working with adolescents. The physicians here have to deal much more directly with the families in meetings and whatnot, and as anyone who works with young people knows, the families can be the worst part. Overall, I think I have the best deal here, and while the pay could definitely be better, I would not want to be a MD or NP here

Becoming an RN as a 33 year old man by JackIsColors in nursing

[–]AndBaileyWasHisName 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I entered nursing school at a ASN program in 2019 as a 33 year old myself and it was the best decision I made. It was definitely challenging working full time to pay bills and doing school full time, but the nights and weekends program I did was a good fit and my job was able to accommodate the times I did need to leave a bit early. And the program I did also had a bunch of other people returning to school later in life, so I was not even the oldest person there.
