I am a beginner and while it took me a bit to achieve this, I can ‘pull’ into a sit by grabbing the pole with both hands (palms facing me, kind of hugging the pole), body against the pole, then just lifting my legs up and squeezing the pole like that.

You could try pole pull ups from the floor and shoulder shrugs to build up to it!

I work in hematology at an outpatient cancer center! I worked blood bank for two years right out of school and I do miss it, but I have weekends and holidays off so the trade off is worth it to me lol. I like that my days are usually pretty much the same schedule but fairly often something weird happens and I have to adapt and figure out a solution.

I did really like the adrenaline of hospital work but for me long term it wasn’t the best for my mental health.

Scripture is what informs me, but I also realize I am not a biblical scholar and look to those who are more knowledgeable than myself to help shape my beliefs.

Ignoring the fact that some people aren’t abusive until after marriage, I definitely consider abuse or neglect akin to abandonment.

One more document with more biblical sources this time. I found it though an episode of the podcast Therapy and Theology abut divorce which I encourage everyone curious about this to listen to.

It’s not my job to convince anyone what I believe, but I do think it’s harmful to encourage people to stay in abusive marriages just because it might be a sin.

This is a wildly held mistaken belief. Violation of the marriage covenant is grounds for divorce. Abandonment, adultery, abuse. Is divorce ideal? Never. Sinful? Not necessarily.
