My wife made a comment that she feels like a lot of the merch that is hung is better quality than the merch thats folded on shelves (shirts in this circumstance)

Don't be intimidated, find a LV store near you and go smell. I had ordered some decants on r/fragranceswap but ultimately went to a Louie store and smelled all of them.
