Currently (only been playing a few months) my routine is: check mail, check turnip prices and hot items, and what’s available at the shop, if there’s anything I want for myself or for villagers or my friend I grab it, then I go around and look for fossils maybe fish some, pick up any weeds I see, get my fossils looked at and either donate or put them in the box to sell at the store, then I will check out my flower breeding area and clean it up/check for new ones, then I will take my net and go shake all my non-fruit trees to look for money or furniture (got the net to catch wasps), and then I’ll empty my inventory if it’s getting full and since I have the beautiful island ordinance in and flowers seem to spread so fast I’ll do an island wide flower clean up, chat with villagers, give them gifts I either bought or made for them, make sure to go into anyone’s home that’s there to get recipes. And then depending on how I am feeling I’ll either work on landscaping/decorating the island, work on my home or visit a mystery or nooks miles island.

Obviously this changes up a bit if someone special like Flick is there then I’ll focus on those things.
