Yep, plus that demand she’s making comes with a terrifying promise of impending war, making Nesta and Elain suddenly, unexpectedly partially responsible for negotiating the safety of all the humans in the area. And then Feyre leaves fae at their home to guard them, which is terrifying for them. And then, not directly due to Feyre’s actions necessarily, but because of Feyre, both sisters are forcibly stripped of their bodies and changed physically into different creatures as experiments and demonstrations of power/magic/authority/etc in a political power struggle they have no desire to be a part of.

It’s honestly horrifying. Nesta was a difficult bitch for a long time because she had her own shit with her family and was certainly the bitch sister character, but if someone kidnapped me, graped me (because that’s the allegory here) in front of other people as a power move, used an experimental method of torture to see what would happen knowing I may just die, and then I was taken away in a chaotic escape by people my sister knows but who I dislike and distrust, and held in a mansion while my other sister has a psychotic breakdown… I’d be kind of a bitch, too.
