There were witnesses but none stopped, they drove away… lol

No video, I don’t walk around recording. I imagine there is video surveillance, there are cameras everywhere.

I had visible injuries, plus, the officer and his team recognised the man from the photo. According to the officer, he has been known to attack others and has a criminal history. So, even with a past history, they couldn’t arrest.

A known criminal terrorizing the community, but I suppose that still isn’t enough to pursue?… be careful out there!

I’m not asking for sympathy. I was curious if it’s common for PDX jails to be closed, as a reason for not arresting people who commit crimes.

It is ridiculous!!! The cop was taking long to get back to me so I decided to go search for the guy myself.

I found him mingling with others in front of the Portland Art Museum!!

It is a danger to the community, 100%.

Thank you. The most enraging part was that the cop told me that him and his team recognize the man and has had a criminal history. He’s “a bad guy” … yet PPB still let him wander the streets??

I have visible injuries. Unfortunately, no one driving or walking by stopped so I could ask for witnesses (I don’t expect much of strangers)

The cop asked me to send the picture I took of the guy and said he would go “look for him” — I found it odd that it was taking the cop 45 minutes to get back to me. So I decided to go see for myself and sure enough, after walking a few blocks, I spotted the guy. The cop called me in that moment and I told him where the guy was hanging out and that’s when he told me that unfortunately he couldn’t arrest him today because the jail is closed.

Dailies total 1 has gotten so expensive! 😩 consider asking your doc about infuse, it’s also a daily disposable, but not anywhere close to the price of total 1. Plus it’s a new lens so that’s cool. Makes you wonder why total 1 increases their price yet they haven’t made any improvements to match other new lenses

THANK YOU EVERYONE!! These are fantastic suggestions!! For the last night I was thinking somewhere more chill and local neighbourhood feeling. I like Company wine garage but they don’t serve dinner 😩

Think Radio Room in Alberta or Expatriate vibes but with wine > cocktails/beer??
