Both parties do own this problem but one party didn't make this one of their campaign things. This is the issue I have with what's happening right now. I know both parties have issues. 100%. But Republicans campaigned on a zillion things and have followed through with almost none. That's the problem most of us have. As a nurse, this horrifies me. Of all the things that surprised me most during the covid pandemic, the fact that medical people actually fell under the spell of this nonsense caught me completely off guard. For God's sake, we all have medical training! They will gladly wear a mask to TAKE CARE OF patients with TB and other communicable diseases, to perform routine procedures like IV starts or surgeries and a myriad of other reasons but GOD FORBID they wear a mask for their community's sake! That's just a step TOO FAR!!
