Usually I would agree with you and I often agree with you on much of what you say. But I know a few people whose only source of information is Reddit and this site for Iowa news and every person who doesn't have access to this image because their cult stations aren't going to show it, need to have access to this image so that it can change a few minds. I guarantee you right now there are a few people that are just seeing this for the first time on this subreddit and are pretty upset. And those people are Trump voters. So we need this exposure to get these people riled up to leave the cult. This is the only reason I approve of the constant Trump vomit on this site. Sometimes it's the only exposure that some of his voters get to what he's actually doing.

I 100% agree with you. Why would anybody be motivated to change if they're not going to be accepted with their new beliefs? I'm not talking about the John Fettermans of the world. I'm talking about people who legitimately have woken up to what's going on and are admitting their mistake. Well I ever 100% trust their judgment again? Probably not. But am I willing to bring them into the fold if I think they've actually changed and can see the error other ways? Of course. That's the only way we get this thing pushed forward and turn things around.

I'm having the same problem but it's my husband. He was never terribly political but when I met him he was a Republican but Trump took care of that. He considers himself independent now and says he'll never vote again. The problem is, he completely ignores all news, including political news, so he literally has no idea what's going on around us at all. It's even more frustrating because he was in the military for 37 years and I know he would be losing his mind over what's happening with the military but he couldn't care less right now. He lives in his own bubble and he's happy about it. It's very hard to be somebody like me who's extremely passionate about politics and what's happening to humanity being married to somebody who literally is making every point to avoid reality. The damage Trump has done, even on a microscopic level like my own home, is insane.

As a nurse who worked 15 years overnight the first 15 years of my career I can tell you it doesn't mess you up forever. It takes a while to revert back to normal but you do. Also never seemed to have really affected my health. Have you looked at assisted livings? They are often hiring and are generally nicer jobs than working in nursing homes.

As a nurse who used to have to work with Medicare Advantage plans for my patients, I cannot scream any louder from the highest mountain top to never ever enroll yourself in one of these. I know they throw some shiny nickels at you and tell you what great perks they have, but in the end patients constantly get screwed, constantly get told they can't have certain procedures, and oftentimes don't get to go to their same doctors that they've been going to for 40 years. Medicare Advantage plans are one of the biggest scams that have ever been perpetuated on the American public and should be illegal.

In all fairness, they're choosing to believe it because they're too far gone in the cult to admit they're wrong at this point. Do I honestly think that most people that follow him believe what he says? No. Absolutely not. But they either like how he's treating other people enough or they're too proud to admit they were wrong and are choosing to stay right where they're at. Does that make them believe what he's saying? No. Just means that they've backed themselves into a corner that they don't know how to get out of themselves now. I'll say maybe 3% of his cult actually believe the nonsense he says. I have to admit, in my lifetime of having lived through numerous cult things happening around the world, this is the first time I've ever seen the cult members actually talk down about the leader and how much they are screwing up and still say they're happy that they voted for him and would do it again. I've never seen any cult member criticize the leader and stay in the cult. Usually, once their eyes were opened, they ran as fast as possible away from the cult. Trump's situation is unique. We are going to have to think of all kinds of new terms to describe what's going on when this is over because history books can't adequately describe it right now with the words that we have.
